The 2026 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has officially kicked off, and we were there on day one to get you all the food booth reviews to let you know what is worth your time and money (or Disney Dining Plan snack credits!) Tuna Poke Bowl When you have the Disney Dining Plan, you’re probably looking to maximize your value when using your credits. One of our favorite ways to use snack credits is during an EPCOT festival at the outdoor kitchens. The Flower and Garden Festival runs from now until June 1st, so if you’re heading there, these are the items to get the most bang for your buck. Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises Over at Fleur de Lys, we tried the Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises for $8.25. This dish features caramelized onions on a flaky pastry crust topped with bacon. This item made our Best of the Fest this year! It was packed with flavor, and the bacon’s saltiness really helped balance the other flavors out. This dish is delicious, but it’s pricey. This is a good use of your credit if you like these flavors. Read Our Full Review Here! Tarte Aux Oignons Caramelises Canard Confit Speaking of Fleur de Lys, you can also grab the new Canard Confit, Sauce Romarin et Champignons, Gâteau de Polenta aux Herbes, which is pulled duck confit with rosemary-mushroom sauce and herbed polenta corn cake for $9.95. While this dish is not one of our favorites in terms of flavor, it’s a good value if you’re looking to try duck. Read Our Full Review of Canard Confit Here! Canard Confit Tuna Poke Bowl The Tuna Poke Bowl makes its debut at the Nectar booth for $8.79. It’s made with edamame, avocado, mango, pickled red onions, seaweed salad, furikake, and umami sauce, all served on a bed of sticky rice. This is a high-quality poke bowl, y’all. The portion is large, and we think it’s enough for lunch! See Our Review of Tuna Poke Bowl Here! Tuna poke bowl Miso Cola-glazed Sticky Pork Ribs Over at the Trowel & Trellis booth, you’ll find the Miso Cola-glazed Sticky Pork Ribs for $7.29. These pork ribs are topped with spicy pickled peppers and peanuts. They’re fairly tender, and they fall off the bone nicely. The peanuts added a nice crunch, and the peppers were surprisingly hot. You get two ribs with the dish for $7.29, so not enough for a meal, but we think this is a great use of your credit. Read Our Full Review Here! Miso Coca-Cola Glazed Sticky Pork Ribs Seafood Bake Over at Beach Grub, you can grab the Seafood Bake for $8.49. $8.49 is pretty pricey, but you get a large portion with this dish, so using a snack credit will give you a lot of value. There was so much butter in the best way — seriously, soak your bread in the butter and enjoy it. Read Our Review of the Seafood Bake Here! Seafood Bake Shrimp and Grits A consistent favorite of ours at this festival is the Shrimp and Grits at Brunchcot. For $7.79, this dish gives you blackened shrimp and cheddar cheese grits with tasso ham gravy, bell peppers, onions, and andouille sausage. It’s a large enough portion to be a solid snack choice, but still small enough not to fill you up. Read Our Shrimp and Grits Review Here! Shrimp and Grits Scallop At the EPCOT’s Farmers Feast booth, for $8.19, you can get the Scallop with spring pea risotto, lemon-beurre blanc, and gremolata. We thought it was a little steep for $8, but once again, the scallops tasted really fresh. That makes this a great use of your snack credit. Read Our Review of the Dish Here! Scallop with spring pea risotto, lemon-beurre blanc, and gremolata Beef Tenderloin Tips The Beef Tenderloin Tips from Northern Bloom are $7.79. The beef tips come with mushroom bordelaise, whipped potatoes, and garden vegetables. This is a Best of the Fest contender. The steak was a good portion size, the gravy (while maybe a tinge salty) mixed well with everything, the carrots were soft, and the mashed potatoes were creamy, all of which combined into a perfectly balanced offering. The large portion and delicious dish make it a great snack credit use. Read Our Full Review Here! Beef Tenderloin Tips Chilaquiles con Carne The Chilaquiles con Carne is made with corn tortillas, tossed in salsa ranchera and Monterey Jack, with shaved rib-eye, poblano peppers, onions, queso fresco, and crema mexicana, for $8.50. This new dish is found at the Jardin de Fiestas Outdoor Kitchen. We love the flavors of this dish, and it blew us away. $8.50 can be a lot for a snack, so using a snack credit on this will give you great value. Read Our Full Review Here of Chilaquiles con Carne Chilaquiles con Carne Taco de Calamar Also at the Jardin de Fiestas Outdoor Kitchen, you can find the Taco de Calamar. This dish features a flour tortilla filled with crispy calamari. It’s garnished with fried garlic, pasilla aïoli, and chives for $9. $9 already makes it a good contender for using a credit, but we weren’t a huge fan of this dish. If it sounds like something you’d enjoy, it’s a good idea to use it for a credit. Read Our Full Review Here of Taco de Calamar Taco de Calamar That’s a wrap on our best snack credit list for this festival. If you’re heading to the Flower and Garden Festival this year on the Disney Dining Plan, we hope this helps you! For more Disney reviews and news, stay tuned to DFB. Okay, so we might be a little obsessed with bathrooms in Disney World, but you have to admit that it’s nice to have so many bathrooms available in the parks…and, hey, some of them are REALLY nice. SLICK new bathroom! Like we’ll spend all day hanging around the Tangled bathrooms in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom just because of the cool Rapunzel vibes. Well, Magic Kingdom just got a newly updated bathroom, and well, it might now be one of our new favorites. The bathrooms at Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. have been closed for a few months, but now we know why…they’ve been completely renovated and they have a brand new look! The construction walls are down, and we can now go inside. Restrooms entrance The tiled floors now have a new pattern in black and white, and it looks SHARP. The partitions are now done up in a deep brown wood color. Pretty new floors The walls are also shiny and new with a white and blue tiled pattern. There is also wooden trim at the bottom of each wall. New walls, too The hand-washing area also has a completely new look. There are three faucets and a long sink with chrome accents. Handwashing station We really love the big vintage-looking “Lather up” sign above the handwashing station done up in the same colors and tile patterns. Who knew washing your hands could look like so much fun? Lather Up The baby changing station is also done up in the same colors and patterns. There are toilet paper rolls on the side, in case you need toilet paper. Baby changing station This is a nice makeover for these bathrooms, and we think it really fits in with the whole Casey’s Corner baseball vibe. We’re always for bathroom upgrades in Disney World, and this is definitely an improvement. We’ll keep an eye out for more news in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 3 New Things Disney World Bathrooms Desperately Need Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Disney Springs is supposed to be the easygoing part of Disney World, but lately, a couple of things have been making it a bit less chill. Disney Springs Disney Springs is still one of our favorite places to spend an afternoon or evening at Disney World. Between the restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, it’s usually a pretty low-stress spot compared to the parks. But recently we’ve noticed a couple of new issues popping up that might catch you off guard if you’re not prepared. Pin Drop Tuesdays Are Getting Intense If you’re a Disney pin collector, you probably already know that Tuesdays have become a pretty big deal at Disney Springs. Disney Pins That’s because several stores release new pins on Tuesdays, which has created a weekly event that a lot of collectors now plan their trips around. While that’s great for fans of the hobby, it also means the lines at certain stores have gotten seriously long. Pin Trading in Disney Springs World of Disney and Pin Traders can see lines form well before the stores even open for the day, especially when a particularly popular collection drops. We’ve seen crowds gather early in the morning with guests hoping to snag the newest designs before they sell out. World of Disney If you happen to wander into Disney Springs on a Tuesday without realizing what’s happening, you might be surprised by the crowd levels around those locations. What normally feels like a casual shopping stop can suddenly feel more like a limited-release event. Line Outside World of Disney Our biggest tip is simple. If you’re not planning to buy pins, you may want to avoid those stores early in the day on Tuesdays. And if you are hoping to grab a new release, showing up right at opening time can make a huge difference. The Resort Bus Security Line Can Back Up Another spot where things have been getting a little tricky lately is the security checkpoint near the Disney Resort bus drop-off area. Disney Springs Bus Station When you arrive at Disney Springs by bus, you’ll head toward a dedicated security screening area before entering the main part of the shopping district. In theory, it’s convenient because it’s right by the transportation hub. In practice, it can sometimes get pretty backed up. It can get as backed up as the security line at Lime Garage If several buses arrive around the same time, that line can build quickly. And if you’re not moving toward security right after stepping off your bus, you might find yourself waiting longer than expected. We’ve noticed that the checkpoint tends to move quickly once you’re in line, but the bottleneck happens when large groups arrive at once. It’s especially noticeable during busy evenings and weekends when Disney Springs is already packed. Disney Springs can get pretty busy! One interesting detail we’ve noticed is that this checkpoint can be surprisingly sensitive compared to others around Disney World. The same bag that sails through security at the parks sometimes gets flagged here, which can add an extra minute or two to the process. None of this is a huge deal, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind when planning your arrival. If you’re heading to Disney Springs for a dining reservation or a specific shopping stop, giving yourself a little extra time can help you avoid feeling rushed. Disney Springs Disney Springs is still one of the best places to hang out at Disney World, but these two hiccups have definitely been popping up more often lately. As always, we’ll keep watching what’s happening around the resort and sharing the latest tips and updates to help you plan your visit, so stay tuned to DisneyFoodBlog. If you’re planning a vacation to Disney World, you might already be dreaming of Mickey bars, churros, and Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, but you need to know that not all Disney food is good food. Pizza at Pizzafari When you visit Disney World, food is a big part of the experience. From iconic snacks to fan-favorite quick service meals, there are plenty of dishes that are worth your time and money. But let’s be honest, not every meal at Disney is a winner. While we’ve found some incredible eats across the parks, every now and then we stumble across something that makes us wonder… how did this make the menu? So in the name of science (and curiosity), we decided to try one of the most notoriously disliked items in Magic Kingdom We’re talking about the plant-based “cheese” pizza at Pinocchio Village Haus. You’ll find this quick-service spot tucked into Fantasyland overlooking “it’s a small world,” and among its menu options is a plant-based pizza designed for guests avoiding dairy. Sounds simple enough: a classic pizza topped with tomato sauce and plant-based cheese. But as we quickly discovered… simple doesn’t always mean satisfying. Pinocchio Village Haus At first glance, this pizza looks like a pretty standard theme park slice. It’s got sauce, melted cheese, and a thin crust. Nothing about the appearance really prepares you for what comes next. The dairy-free cheese used here is made by Follow Your Heart, a brand many plant-based eaters might recognize from grocery stores. It’s relatively easy to find and commonly used as a vegan alternative in recipes. However, once it melts, the texture tends to be very different from traditional cheese. Plant-based “Cheese” Pizza Instead of the stretchy, gooey melt you expect from mozzarella, the consistency is closer to warm cream cheese. It’s soft, thick, and gooey in a way that dairy cheese normally isn’t. If you’re already used to plant-based cheese alternatives, you might not mind it, but if you’re expecting a classic pizza experience, the difference is very noticeable. Unfortunately, this pizza leaned heavily into that texture. A slice We tried to give this slice a fighting chance. To boost the flavor, we loaded it up with red pepper flake packets and even added some barbecue sauce. But the problem wasn’t just the taste, but it was the overall texture. The crust was thin and chewy rather than crisp, which, combined with the creamy plant-based cheese, created a texture that was, frankly, hard to handle. The whole thing reminded us a lot of a microwave pizza, and not in a nostalgic way. In fact, after a few bites, it was safe to say our gag reflex was definitely triggered. Not great Unless you already know you enjoy this specific style of plant-based cheese, we wouldn’t recommend ordering this pizza. The texture alone makes it a tough sell, and even with extra toppings, we couldn’t save it. There are simply too many better dining options in Magic Kingdom to spend your money here. Does this look appetizing to you? This plant-based pizza at Pinocchio Village Haus just didn’t work for us. The unusual texture, chewy crust, and cream-cheese-like melt made it one of the most difficult Disney dishes we’ve tried recently. There are a LOT of meals to be eaten at Disney World, but breakfast might just be the most underrated one. Tonga Toast If you’ve been sleeping on the morning dining options around Disney World, it’s time to wake up (pun very much intended). From character buffets to quick-service hidden gems, there are a handful of spots around the resort where the breakfast offerings are truly worth planning your whole morning around. We’ve rounded up four of our favorites, and we think they deserve a whole lot more attention than they typically get. Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Capt. Cook’s First stop: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Capt. Cook’s is the quick-service option at this gorgeous deluxe resort, and it’s serving up some seriously solid breakfast options. The real star of the show here, though, is the Tonga Toast. Tonga Toast If you haven’t had it before, allow us to introduce you: it’s a thick slab of sourdough stuffed with banana, battered, deep-fried, and finished off with a generous dusting of cinnamon-sugar, then served alongside your choice of bacon or sausage. It’s indulgent in the best way possible. Tonga Toast from Capt. Cook’s And while Tonga Toast does pop up at a few spots around the Polynesian, Capt. Cook’s is going to be your most budget-friendly way to get your hands on it. Read Our Latest Review Here Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Tusker House Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, tucked into the Africa section of the park, you’ll find Tusker House, and honestly, it might just be one of our favorite buffets on the entire Disney World property. This one’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and while every meal here brings something impressive to the table, breakfast holds its own in a pretty remarkable way. Buffet The morning buffet is packed with both African-inspired and American-style dishes, and the spread can include things like bobotie, African French Toast Bulkas, made-to-order omelets, chai-spiced croissants, and the showstopper that is the Simba Waffle, which you can top with a banana caramel sauce that genuinely might be one of the best things we’ve ever tasted at Disney World. Simba Waffles And while you’re loading up your plate, you’ll be visited by Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy, all decked out in their safari best and ready to say “Jambo!” (that’s “hello” in Swahili, for those keeping track). Read Our Latest Review Here Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe at EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe Norway Pavilion fans, this one’s for you. Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe is a charming Norwegian-style bakery right inside Epcot’s Norway Pavilion, and while it’s open throughout the day with a rotating selection of pastries and baked goods, we’re especially big fans of hitting this spot first thing in the morning. School Bread Their lineup includes things like School Bread (a sweet roll filled with custard and rolled in coconut) and a cinnamon roll with orange cream cheese icing that’s honestly hard to say no to. There are also some unique coffee drinks worth knowing about, including the Kristoff Kaffe, a frozen coffee blended with coffee-chocolate sauce and topped with a coffee-chocolate crunch. You won’t be disappointed! If you’re looking for something a little more elevated, you can also order the Frozen Viking Coffee, which is the same drink with Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur and Kamora Coffee Liqueur added in. A morning pastry here, followed by a ride on Frozen Ever After, is genuinely one of our favorite ways to kick off a day at EPCOT. Read Our Latest Review Here Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort Beachy vibes Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a spot that we’d fully consider a sleeper hit in the breakfast category. The restaurant operates a buffet for both breakfast and dinner, but the two meals are very different experiences. In the morning, it’s all about Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast, a character dining experience where you’ll get to hang with Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in their cutest beachwear. Minnie at Cape May Cafe The moment you sit down, your server drops off a basket of salted caramel beach buns, and we’re not exaggerating when we say these are some of the best bites of bread at Disney World. They’re soft, sweet without being over the top, and that combination of sticky caramel and sea salt on top is genuinely irresistible. Salted Caramel Beach Buns Up at the buffet, there’s a Minnie Waffle situation happening (which, honestly, is completely appropriate given whose party this is), plus an omelet station, a crepe station where a Cast Member makes your crepe fresh right in front of you, and a build-your-own breakfast taco station that lets you customize to your heart’s content. One more thing worth noting: We think the breakfast buffet at Cape May Cafe runs circles around dinner. Read Our Latest Review Here No matter where your Disney World day takes you, starting it off with a great meal makes everything better. Whether you’re grabbing a quick Tonga Toast at Capt. Cook’s, loading up your plate at Tusker House, sipping a Kristoff Kaffe at Kringla Bakeri, or diving into a basket of salted caramel beach buns at Cape May Cafe, breakfast around Disney World is genuinely worth getting excited about. In case you missed it, we’ve been sailing on the brand new Disney Adventure, which is the first Disney Cruise Line ship to sail out of Singapore. And y’all…so far, it’s been MAGICAL (yeah, we know that word is overused, but it really is the BEST way to describe this cruise). Our new favorite burger? There’s so much to see and do on the ship. We even got to ride some Marvel-themed attractions, visited a Moana-themed restaurant, and more. We also got to visit a casual dining spot, Stitch’s Ohana Grill…and well, let’s just say that what we had there SURPRISED US big time! Stitch’s Ohana Grill is a Hawaiian-style eatery serving up classic American casual food like burgers and sandwiches, “with a touch of island flair.” Stitch’s Ohana Grill It’s designed to look like a beach hangout, complete with surfboards. Surfboards There are a ton of Hawaiian and beach accents, including shelves full of fun decor (many with Lilo & Stitch Easter eggs). Lots of fun references to Lilo & Stitch It’s just a fun little beach shack that just happens to sit in the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship. Love all those little details You order your food at a counter here. Order at the counter Seating is tables and chairs, as well as booths. As you can see, though, it’s a small seating area inside. But you can always take your food to go. Seating We only ordered one thing here, and it’s something EVERYONE seems to be talking about, the Gochujang Burger. It’s made with a Grilled Angus Beef Burger, a Toasted Brioche Bun, Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, Red Ginger, Kimchi, Crisp Onions, and Gochujang Mayonnaise. Some people love it. Some people hate it. We fall into the first category because we LOVED it. The beef patty was cooked well, although it was thin. The kimchi adds a unique, bright flavor and crunch that wasn’t spicy. Gochujang Burger The onions add a subtle crunch and savoriness, while the mayo just adds a nice creamy layer to the whole. The ginger was what really surprised us because it added a wonderful, sharp flavor with just a hint of gingery warmth. Oh, yeah, the fries were crispy and salty. We loved it So we don’t care what anyone else says, we think this could be the most unique — and BEST — Disney burger we’ve had in our lives. A while back, Disney announced its goal to bring more short-form content to its Disney+ streaming service, and now it looks like that time has finally come. ©Disney Although we won’t be seeing the previously announced user-generated short-form content just yet, this latest reveal is the first step in Disney’s strategy to step into the world of shorter videos and clips on Disney+. Here’s what we know. Disney shared that in early experiments on Disney+, Verts has driven additional user engagement, attributed to their “new advanced algorithm that powers the recommendation engine for the experience to ensure that Verts feels uniquely relevant and personalized to each individual user. Think TikTok or Instagram Reels, but for Disney+ content. ©Disney Over time, Verts will become an even bigger part of the everyday experience on Disney+. At launch, this includes driving discoverability across Disney’s entertainment catalog, with opportunities in the future to add content from creators that reflect Disney fandoms, plus other storytelling formats, content types, and personalized experiences. ©Disney Eventually, Disney will bring user-generated short-form content to Disney+, due to a partnership with OpenAI. The three-year licensing agreement means that users will be able to utilize Sora to “generate short, user-prompted social videos that can be viewed and shared by fans.” As part of the partnership, more than 200 Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars characters will be featured on the platform, including a selection of fan-inspired Sora short-form videos available to stream on Disney+. The timeline for that rollout has yet to be announced. ©Disney x OpenAI We’ll be on the lookout for more updates about Verts and Disney+. When it comes to Disney World rides, there are a lot of things experts do… and many more that they NEVER do. ©Disney From listening to Cast Members and following safety instructions to keeping belongings in check and maintaining proper ride etiquette, if you do these things, you’re a gold star Disney guest as far as we’re concerned. You Keep Your Phone Use in Check Barring an emergency, there’s really no reason for anyone to take a phone call while on a ride. Beyond that, there’s no reason to be scrolling a bright smartphone while on a dark ride. Would you join their ghostly ball? Speaking of dark rides, there’s also a reason pretty much everyone warns guests against flash photography. No, it won’t make the animatronics lose their robo-minds, Simpsons style, but it will totally ruin the atmosphere for everyone else on the attraction. Please do not take photos with a flash You’re Not Loudly Reciting Dialogue Whether it’s the Haunted Mansion’s stretching room, the auction scene in Pirates of the Caribbean, or any of the other memorable moments across Disney World’s attractions, we’ve all dealt with the person who decides they need to loudly recite the dialogue of a scene, to the point where it drowns out the audio. Don’t talk here!!! You Keep Track of Your Belongings When it comes to Walt Disney World ride vehicles, it’s important to have everything packed up and tidy so it’s easy to get in and out of the ride vehicle quickly. This goes double for thrill ride vehicles, where it’s important to keep things secured — including hats and glasses — so they don’t fly off and potentially injure yourself or other riders. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind You Know the “Move All the Way In” Rule When Cast Members call for guests to move all the way down their row or to the middle of the floor, they’re doing so for a reason, usually regarding capacity, so it’s best to follow their directions. Carousel of Progress Seats You Pay Attention to the Row Numbers Cast Members Give You Speaking of listening to Cast Members, it’s important to go to whichever seat or row they assign you on a given ride. Of course, if you have a specific seat/row you’d like to sit in, you CAN request it. However, be aware that it may be unavailable, and there are no guarantees you’ll get it. Test Track boarding area You Know Where the Photopass Cameras are on Each Ride and Always (Safely) Strike an Adorable Pose This last one is a bit more fun! If you know where the on-ride photo cameras are on any given ride, you can strike the best possible pose (as long as you’re not breaking any rules) to get the most memorable shot possible! Your ride photo! Next time you find yourself on your favorite ride at Disney World, make sure to keep these things in mind, and stay tuned to DFB for more expert tips. I’ve been going to Disney World since 1993, and while I love the rides, there are some that I’m just not going on. Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train Disney is full of all kinds of rides, from thrilling attractions to slower speed boat rides. While every guest probably has their own favorite ride, there are rides that even the Disney World pros will skip out on. Here are eight attractions we skipped and why you might want to, too! Mission Space You probably saw this one coming if you have ridden EPCOT’s Mission: SPACE. This ride is normally a big NO for many Disney World experts — and you can add us to that list. This thrill ride does a good job of making you feel forces similar to what it’s like to ride an actual rocket (some may say too good a job), and it’s an absolute nightmare if you suffer from the slightest bit of motion sickness. In fact, people who don’t deal with motion sickness are often still affected by this ride. The attraction has a Green and Orange version, representing two versions that differ in severity. Keep in mind, though, that even the Green version comes equipped with barf bags because you’re still gonna feel some G forces regardless, and many experts decide to retain their lunch instead and skip. Mission Space Slinky Dog Dash Slinky Dog Dash over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a fun ride, but there’s one thing that keeps pros away from it — the wait times. The line for this ride is ALWAYS long (unless you ride it during a separately ticketed event like Jollywood Nights or After Hours Events), and experts aren’t willing to use an hour of their day for it. But pros know to either rope drop this attraction if it is a must-do, or you can snag a Tier 1 selection if you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios Rides that Spin There’s a long list of spin-y rides at Disney World, and experts who get motion sick know to steer clear of them so they don’t ruin their park day. Rides like Mad Tea Party, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Astro Orbiter, Price Charming Regal Carrousel (wow, Magic Kingdom has a LOT of spinning rides), etc can make guests sick. Mad Tea Party Tomorrowland Speedway Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland Speedway is a bit redundant when many of the adult guests there likely had to drive to the theme park. Why waste time driving when it’s something you can do outside of the Disney Parks? Also, I’m not sure how futuristic gas-guzzling cars are and what their place is in Tomorrowland, but that’s a point for another day. This line can get surprisingly long, too, because the cars only take 2 at a time. Tomorrowland Speedway Kali River Rapids On a hot summer’s day, Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom provides some much-needed relief, cooling you off and saving you from the heat. Other days? Not so much. Whether you want it or not, you WILL get soaked. This ride can feel very short as well, making it not a great use of your time. Kali River Rapids Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Similar to Slinky Dog Dash, Mine Train runs high wait times, and pros tend to skip it because of that. Guests also complain that this feels quite short compared to other attractions. You can purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for this attraction, or we suggest hitting it during Early Theme Park Entry if it’s a ride you really want to do. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Peter Pan’s Flight Just steps away from Mine Train is Peter Pan’s Flight. It is a fun ride, but it’s also a skip for many experts. The complaints we have about this ride are similar to the complaints for Slinky Dog Dash. The wait is hardly worth it when it takes over 20 minutes, and it gets well over that daily. I will say, I personally ride it for the notologia factor. If you want to ride this, we suggest doing it during rope drop, as that is when lines are the shortest. Peter Pan’s Flight Journey Into Imagination With Figment Before you, Figment fans, come after us, let us explain! The original version of this ride was called Journey Into Imagination, and it featured the beloved Dreamfinder and Figment. Fans say that this version of the attraction was better. If you aren’t a Figment fan, you’re probably skipping this to opt for more thrilling rides in EPCOT. Journey Into Imagination with Figment The best part of Disney World is that each guest is different and has rides that they love! It’s no secret that MagicBands have become an integral part of a Disney World vacation over the last decade+. They can serve as room keys, payment methods, entry tickets, be used to check-in for Lightning Lanes, connect with PhotoPass, and react to select Disney theme park attractions with “lighting effects and gesture recognition”, and they’re available in a slew of cool designs! MagicBand+ However, there can be some negative side effects to wearing them if you’re not careful! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. They Can Cause Irritation So, while MagicBands are generally pretty comfortable in our experience, their rubber-like material can get a bit irritating to wear around your wrist all day, especially during the sweaty summer season. A nice way around that is to wear your band a bit looser than skintight, that way there’s more breathing room. Tapping our MagicBand+! Don’t Lose Your Band! Of course, wearing your MagicBand a bit looser runs a risk of it potentially falling off in the park – or even worse, on a ride! Now, there is a chance that Disney may be able to track your MagicBand, which is going to take a big chunk of time out of your day, and if it can’t be found, you’ll likely need to pay for a replacement. However, there is a way to avoid losing them altogether: These silicone locks will keep your MagicBand+ affixed properly even if you wear them loose. ©Amazon You May Need to Rearrange Your Jewelry Even if your MagicBand isn’t going anywhere, it can still be a bit annoying to have to rearrange your own personal jewelry, fitness tracker, or smart device like an Apple Watch. However, you can use this watch adapter to attach your MagicBand’s RFID puck to your Apple Watch band, wearing both on the same wrist comfortably. Apple Watch band MagicBand+ converter Also, once you’ve affixed your MagicBand+ RFID puck to your Apple Watch, why not pick up a special Disney watchband! ©Meta Watch Your Spending One of the many potential uses of your MagicBand is essentially as a debit card. However, for some guests, simply tapping their band for purchase after purchase can lead to them blowing past their budget without even realizing it. Unfortunately, there’s no easy hack to avoid this other than simply paying attention to how often your tapping your band for snacks and souvenirs. MagicBand+ MagicBands are a major part of any Walt Disney World vacation, but there are some potential unfortunate side effects to keep an eye out for. The sassy fairy made a splash with her debut in Peter Pan, but has since gone on to be the star of her own shows, as well as a character we always look forward to seeing in Disney World and Disneyland parades, as well as the occasional meet and greet. Well, Tinker Bell’s popularity has paid off because she’ll soon be getting her own live-action Disney+ series, according to Variety. Disney+ is developing a live-action series called Tink that will be all about everyone’s favorite fairy. If that title sounds familiar, well, it’s a project that’s got a long history. In 2010, Tink was all set to be a live-action romcom starring Elizabeth Banks. Another version of the project had Reese Witherspoon attached. This new series will be a “high priority” project for Disney+, with Liz Heldens and Bridget Carpenter (Friday Night Lights) set to write and executive produce. ©Disney Former Disney Channels Worldwide president/Disney Branded Television president and chief creative officer, Gary Marsh, is also attached to the project, while Selfish Mermaid’s Quinn Haberman will also act as an executive producer. As to what the series will be about, though, is still a secret. Disney has not yet revealed a synopsis for the new show. Tinker Bell and Fawn Most recently, Tinker Bell has been portrayed in live-action by Yara Shahidi, who played the character in the live-action Peter Pan and Wendy. She’s also been portrayed by Rose McIver in the TV series Once Upon A Time, and Julia Roberts in 1991’s Hook. Disney has not yet revealed any details about the casting of the series, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for updates. In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news. VIDEO!
