On Saturday we implored our readers to help us solve the mystery of the missing Baby Yoda MagicBand! ©Disney “Find me, YOU MUST!” We weren’t sure if Stitch had eaten the page, or WHAT had happened to him, but one thing was clear: the photo of the Baby Yoda MagicBand (which we’d never seen before!) had disappeared without a trace and we needed your help to see what it looked like! If you’re new to this debacle we found ourselves in over the weekend, here are the facts: Disney World hotel guests and Annual Passholders have the ability to select and customize MagicBands within their My Disney Experience account. While browsing the different styles they had to choose from, we noticed a new Star Wars: The Child MagicBand was listed amongst the options, but we couldn’t see a pic of it — it was just a blank space! She quickly realized the person who had added the image of the new Baby Yoda MagicBand to Disney’s website accidentally added an extra “0” in the number for the URL. Once she removed the superfluous “0,” she was able to see the image. She shared this info with us so we could see it too and here it IS: the new Baby Yoda MagicBand! ©Disney We love how this MagicBand shows Baby Yoda’s BIG adorable face smilin’ up at us! We also had some readers who were big enough Mando fans to pre-order the Baby Yoda MagicBand without seeing a photo of it first! Guess who’s back? Back again. Black Velvet Cupcake The Black Velvet cupcake’s back! Tell a friend! The Sprinkles located at Disney Springs is notorious for bringing back this crowd-favorite cuppy for a limited time. The cupcake is packed with Sprinkle’s “deepest, darkest, most chocolatey cake.” Ok, sure, we’ll take a dozen, please. Sprinkles JUST released the cupcakes for pre-order again, but you gotta act fast! The cupcakes are available for pre-order for two days only starting TODAY! All online orders must be placed by 11:59pm on August 18th. Cupcakes must be picked up or delivered between August 21st and August 22nd. Oh boy. We’re ready for some chocolatey goodness! Well, while we’re talking about the return of Pumpkin Spice Lattes to Disney World… Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea in Hollywood Studios … there IS a place where you can get a pumpkin latte in the parks right now! We just so happened to pay a visit to one of the Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea kiosks in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today. And to our happy surprise, we spotted the Seasonal Beverages sign alerting us to the return of the Pumpkin Pie Latte AND the Harvest Chai Latte! As with all coffee drinks at the Joffrey’s locations, you can order your beverage hot or iced. Which is great news, because even though we’re more than a wee bit excited for fall around here today, we’re definitely still experiencing iced coffee temps here in Orlando! Seasonal Beverages sign (Oh, and though we didn’t go this route today, you can also “Make It Spirited,” as the sign says, by adding Irish Cream, Vodka, Coffee Liqueur or Irish Whiskey to your beverage.) And so — without further ado — here it is… our Iced Pumpkin Pie Latte! Pumpkin Pie Latte The Pumpkin Pie Latte is made with pumpkin pie syrup, milk and espresso for $5.69. Pumpkin Pie Latte For the PSL fans out there, as a flavor comparison, the Pumpkin Pie Latte here is not quite as sweet. That said, it is still plenty so; enough, in fact, that you might consider ordering it with a little less syrup if you find the typical pumpkin drink too sweet. Pumpkin Pie Latte It’s absolutely enjoyable, and even a little bit “spicier” in its autumnal flavors to our tastes. In short, the Pumpkin Pie Latte tastes just like fall and we are HERE FOR IT. Again, while we enjoyed this one at the Joffrey’s on Pixar Place (just steps away from the entrance of Toy Story Land) in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, these seasonal selections should be available at all Joffrey’s kiosks in the Disney World parks (such as Royal Anandapur Tea Company in Animal Kingdom and Joffrey’s Revive in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, to name just two!) and Disney Springs. Coffee lovers, BEWARE! PSL at Trolley Car Cafe It’s almost that time of year when the leaves start to fall off the trees and the smell of delicious PSL fills the AIR! Not everyone is a fan of the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte, but for some of us, our blood type is PSL! That’s why we were super-dee-duper excited to learn the Starbucks would be bringing back the PSL in 2020. Recently, we got an update on change and cancellation policies relating to Adventures by Disney. Now, Walt Disney World has updated their policies regarding cancellation and change fees for Disney World hotel reservations. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees have now been waived for Disney World hotel reservations further into 2020. Previously, we shared that Disney was waiving Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through October 3, 2020. Disney’s Contemporary Resort Now, Disney has extended that policy. Disney World guests with arrivals scheduled through December 31, 2020, can now change or cancel their reservations up to the date of check-in, without incurring a fee from Disney. Screenshot from the Disney World Website It’s important to note that if you booked your Disney World vacation through a third party, then cancellation fees, change fees, and applicable deadlines may be different. Be sure to check with the third party directly to see what their change and cancellation policies and fees are. We’ll definitely look for any further updates to Disney’s change and cancellation fees policies and let you know about any future changes. Little did we realize when we arrived at Disney Springs today that we’d find a huge display of fun Halloween merchandise at World of Disney! World of Disney We’ve been trouncing around the literal pumpkin patch all morning to see what goodies we could find, and we’re VERY excited about this sweet item we’ve just spotted! Our trick-or-treat prayers have been answered! Remember those new Halloween Candy Minnie ears we told you about last week? Well, the candy cauldrons must’ve have been bubbling and brewing all summer long because we found a huge batch of ’em at Disney Springs today! Halloween Candy Minnie Ears Actually, just like the Macaron Minnie ears, the new Halloween Candy Minnie ears aren’t exactly edible, but they DO look good enough to eat! Halloween Candy Minnie Ears The ears are made of a hard plastic material with black, orange, yellow, and purple coloring that resembles a lollipop! The headband itself is accented with a sparkly black sequined bow and they’re embroidered with the phrase, “Sweet and Spooky” on the side! Wizards and witches unite! Halloween time is upon us! Halloween at Magic Kingdom We’ve seen everything from Haunted Mansion and Halloween Crocs, to hilarious costumes for your dog and spooky plushes! Now, we’ve spotted a fun NEW item online that can add some more magic to your Halloween celebrations! We’ve seen lots of new MagicBand designs released lately including a Ratatouille one, and even a limited edition Black Widow one. Guests at Walt Disney World can link their park tickets and hotel reservations onto their MagicBands, and use their bands to open their hotel room door, enter the parks, charge purchases to their room, and even link PhotoPass photos to their account. Shanghai Disneyland was the first Disney resort to reopen from the global closures, and now it’s entering a new stage of reopening. Shanghai Disneyland With all sorts of new health measures and safety features, Shanghai Disneyland has spent the last few months adapting to the new normal. We’ve seen the introduction of the new Standby Pass feature and even the return of fireworks. Now, in line with government restrictions, Shanghai Disneyland will be raising capacity and entering a new phase of reopening. The new phase comes in reaction to China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism raising the operating capacity of tourism sites from 30% to 50%. So, effective August 24th, Shanghai Disneyland will transition out of the current Advanced Reservation Period to give guests more flexibility in their plans. Shanghai Disneyland Website Screenshot In the new phase, General Admissions Ticketholders and Annual Passholders will be able to visit the Shanghai Disneyland park on any day that they are eligible. Same-day park tickets will be available as well. All guests will still be required to make a reservation by submitting a visitation date and personal information to receive a Shanghai Disneyland Reservation QR Code. ©ShanghaiDisneylandResort on Instagram The start of this new phase will also mark the day that Annual Passes and General Admission Tickets that were affected by the closure and the Advanced Reservation Period will be extended.
