  1. EPCOT is full of possibilities, adventure, and delicious food — but 5 changes are hitting this Disney World park next month. EPCOT With June just around the corner, Summer is almost here at Disney World! Not only will the heat be turning up in the Disney parks, but you can expect to see some big changes coming. From new attractions to special holidays, these are the changes happening at EPCOT next month. Flower and Garden Festival Ends Starting off on June 1st, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will end. June 1st will be the last day guests will have a chance to enjoy the outdoor kitchens and special events around this festival. For the rest of June and all of July, there will not be an EPCOT festival happening. The next event will be EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival, which will begin on August 27th. EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival La Cava Celebrations Over at La Cava del Tequila, two celebrations in June could come with something special. On June 8th, it’s National Avocado Margarita Day — which was actually established by Mark Walburge on his birthday. On June 15th, La Cava will celebrate Black Magic Day. The Black Magic Margarita is made with smoky Mezcal, blackberry purée, Cassis liqueur, lime, and mint — it was also developed by THE Neil Patrick Harris. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any specials celebrating these two popular drinks. We love a Disney margarita! World Ocean Day This one stings a little to talk about because we miss it so much. World Ocean Day is June 8th, and in the past, this was the day you could find Scuba Mickey inside the Seas at EPCOT. He has not been spotted in a few years, and we really miss seeing him in the tank. If you happen to be at EPCOT on June 8th, it’s worth a stop to see if he’s there because it is a real treat to spot him! Hi, Mickey! Cool Kids’ SUMMER While Cool Kids’ SUMMER officially kicks off on May 26th, we decided to remind you that it will be in full swing during the month of June. At EPCOT, Goofycore is returning again this year. This is where Goofy brings in games, DJs, entertainment Cast Members, and, of course, himself to play with guests of all ages. Be sure to stop by to pay him a visit and have some fun! LOTS of fun here! Soarin’ Over America Similarly, Soarin’ Over America will debut on May 26th, and with no official end date to this attraction, you can enjoy it all month long. This new version is arriving just in time to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary, and it will take guests on a coast-to-coast journey featuring some of the country’s most iconic landscapes and cityscapes. Think sweeping natural beauty, recognizable skylines, and a heavy dose of Americana. Be sure to take a ride while you can! ©Disney We will be in the parks and looking for any changes and updates to bring them to you! For more Disney news and stories, be sure to follow us at DFB. 2. Hmm, what does Disney have up their sleeves? Indiana Jones Permits are one of those sneaky things that Disney World likes to publish, giving us a small idea of what could be happening in the parks. It gives us a look at when work will start on projects that have already been announced, but Disney hasn’t told us what’s happening in the area. They did drop a code name that has us questioning EVERYTHING! Disney has filed a permit for “Project Fedora” in Hollywood Studios. Well, there’s only one iconic Disney character that I know that wears a fedora — Indiana Jones! Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular The permits are right by Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! The area didn’t have much before, but the permits have been filed for “general construction.” Disney hasn’t made any announcements about what’s coming to the space, but some are thinking a snack cart, a small souvenir area, or even a potential meet and greet with the archaeologist himself. Epic Eats by Indiana Jones This permit being filed in Hollywood Studios through us for a loop because Animal Kingdom is adding a whole ride, just for Indiana Jones! With the Pueblo Esperanza expansion, DINOSAUR is being Indiana Jones themed, similar to the one in Disneyland. Disney has confirmed that there will be a new storyline, but the ride uses the same technology as the Disneyland version and DINOSAUR. The new Tropical Americas land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom lets guests explore a preserved Maya temple – and the ensuing adventure – alongside Indiana Jones. The outside is even being transformed into a Maya temple! It seems like now is the perfect time to be an Indiana Jones fan. ©Disney Also coming to Pueblo Esperanza is the very first Encanto ride! This ride will take you inside Casita on the day that Antonio receives his gift, and while exploring his room and the rest of the house, you might run into some familiar faces. ©Disney There will also be an animal-themed carousel. ©Disney We’re going to be keeping an eye on the area in Hollywood Studios to see what’s coming, but in the meantime, make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more Disney news! 4. Yes, big rides and shows are fun at Disney World, but it’s really the little things that make everything so magical. One thing we love is “streetmosphere.” EPCOT Streetmosphere is when there are performers throughout the parks! They usually put on small shows, interact with guests, and don’t require any waiting in line. We just caught a show in EPCOT, and we’re kinda obsessed. Say hello to The Amazing Max and Aydar! Their show is currently garden-themed since it’s the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival until June 1st. Max and Aydar You can catch them around World Celebration at 9:15 AM, 10:15 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:15 PM, and 2:15 PM. We enjoyed watching the variety act, and it looked like the guests around us were really enjoying it as well. Flower and Garden themed! There are some other small shows around EPCOT that are fun little additions to your day. We love Celebracion Encanto! for the Encanto lovers in your life. They pull guests from the audience, and we can’t help but dance and sing along. ¡Celebración Encanto! The Forces of Nature is an acrobatic show in World Nature. It reminds us of Cirque de Soleil, but it is already included in your park ticket! Forces of Nature When wandering through the World Showcase, you should stop inside the countries and see what’s happening, too. There are small exhibits, and more hidden inside the pavilions, and it really makes us feel like world explorers. 5. We’re entering into the summer season, which means it’s about to get HOT! Having a water bottle with you at all times is important, but if you want to make sure you’re not drinking hot water that you wish were cold, you’ll want a quality bottle. ©Target There are tons out there, that’s for sure, so how do you find which ones are worth the cost and are actually going to hold up? Well, Stanleys have never let us down, so we’re thrilled to see there’s a new collection available at Target right now, especially because they’re perfect for the 4th of July! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Keep Your Hydration Up All Day! ©Target Need a big tumbler to make sure you’ve got enough water to keep you going all day? The 40 oz Ombre Starry Sparkle Tumbler is a great choice! We love that subtle white-to-blue ombre color, and those red, white, and blue stars all over. Just imagine it next to you during the celebrations this year? We think it’s a great fit. Grab it at Target! Keep Your Cans Cool No Matter The Time ©Target The Pink Stanley 10 oz Slim Can Cooler has a similar design, with the red, white, and blue stars all over, but it’s mostly white as a base with vertical pink stripes. This design is two-in-one, though, because you can either use it as a cup itself, or you can take the lid off and put a can inside to keep it cool. Grab it at Target! A Smaller Tumbler Design ©Target Love the design of the tumbler, but don’t need a 40 oz? Don’t worry, the Blue Starry Stripes 20 oz Tumbler is right up your alley. Now, this design is a bit different, as the base is white and has vertical blue stripes, and the stars all over are red, instead of being red, white, and blue. Grab it at Target! Perfect For Serving! ©Target Planning on serving a drink all day and don’t want it getting warm? The Starry Sparkle Stanley 64 oz Stainless Steel Stay-Chill Pitcher is a great way to go. This way, everyone can still pour their own glass as much as they’d like, but you won’t need to worry about it getting warm as it sits out. Grab it at Target! 6. TSA PreCheck, the array of membership programs that allow travelers to mostly skip long security lines and fly with less stress, has become increasingly popular in recent years, with frequent fliers flocking to certified enrollment programs such as CLEAR, IDEMIA, or Telos. ©AP However, if you’re planning on dipping your toe into the waters of PreCheck, there are some important rules you NEED to be aware of. TSA PreCheck offers eligible participants, including U.S. citizens and permanent residents, five years of benefits for $85 or less. Perks include giving travelers the ability to leave electronics and 3-1-1 liquids in their bags when going through security, as well as allowing them to leave on belts, light jackets, and shoes. Upgrade to Real ID… or Pay $45 After years of delays, the TSA made Real ID mandatory for boarding a domestic flight in May 2025. REAL IDs are state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards that meet the federal REAL ID security standards as established by the Department of Homeland Security. Residents who live in Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, and Washington who have State-Issued Enhanced Driver’s Licenses and identification cards (EDL/EID), which are designated as “acceptable border-crossing documents by DHS under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative,” can use those as an acceptable alternative to a REAL ID for boarding a commercial aircraft. ©Department of Homeland Security In early 2026, the TSA made an amendment to the rule. According to the agency, “passengers who do not present an acceptable form of ID and still want to fly an option to pay a $45 fee to use a modernized alternative identity verification system, TSA ConfirmID, to establish identity at security checkpoints beginning on February 1st, 2026. Travelers will be able to pay $45 to use TSA ConfirmID for a 10-day travel period. TSA urges travelers who do not have a REAL ID to schedule an appointment at their local DMV to update their ID as soon as possible.” PreCheck signage Have Your Physical ID With You Even If You’re Using the Touchless ID Option In the spring of 2026, the TSA began rolling out Touchless ID for PreCheck members at airports across the country. The basic idea is simple: instead of handing over your ID at the security checkpoint, a facial comparison photo does the verification through biometric technology. This tech will confirm your identity faster and with less friction, so you can move through the dedicated PreCheck lane without digging around for your documents. The service is opt-in only, and you’ll need to set things up in advance through your airline profile. TSA PreCheck Touchless Identity Solution at La Guardia However, if you do choose to opt in to using Touchless ID, you should still have an acceptable form of physical identification on you. After all, technology tends to malfunction, and systems tend to go down, so it’s always wise to have backup options ready, just in case. ©TSA Anyone 18 and Older Must have their Own Known Traveler Number If you’re traveling with kids under 18, it’s important to know their eligibility for PreCheck, and it’s all based on age group. Children 12 and under are automatically allowed in the TSA PreCheck lane when traveling with a parent/guardian who has the TSA PreCheck indicator on their boarding pass. The child’s boarding pass does not need to show the TSA PreCheck indicator. Children aged 13 to 17 require the TSA PreCheck indicator on their boarding pass. To get that mark on their child’s boarding pass, parents must make sure the adult and child are on the same airline reservation, and the adult’s boarding pass has the TSA PreCheck indicator. If the child is on a separate airline reservation and doesn’t have their own KTN, they will not be eligible for TSA PreCheck screening. TSA PreCheck at MCO If you’re planning to use TSA PreCheck on your next flight, make sure you’re prepared for these rules to be enforced at the airport. 7. I have the BEST DISNEY WORLD NEWS EVER!!! Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets We are inching closer and closer to opening a new attraction, and while it feels like I’ve been counting down for MONTHS, we are about one week away from life-changing in Hollywood Studios. Grab your band members, your most psychedelic tie-dye, and your guitars because we are moving right along! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be opening in Hollywood Studios on May 26th, which is about a week away. Yes, The Muppets will officially be back in Disney World, and I couldn’t be more excited to jam out with the band and say hi to Kermit and Scooter while I’m at it. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is looking different! Now, because I’m not the only person who’s super excited about this roller coaster, we’re expecting some pretty big crowds when it opens. If you need to ride it on opening day, you might want to secure a Lightning Lane with a Multi Pass. We’re expecting this Lightning Lane to sell out quickly, so you’ll want to be ready on your phone to grab it. Disney World hotel guests get to purchase Lightning Lanes a little earlier than non-guests, too, so if you’re staying on property, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of this. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Queue ©Disney You should also plan on showing up early and waiting in a long line. Grab your book, headphones, snacks, and anything else you need to be able to hang out in the line for a bit. ©Disney Disney also gave us a sneak peek at some of the souvenirs coming to the gift shop at the end of the ride, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll probably want to bring some extra gift cards and grab some before they sell out. It’s possible this merchandise will sell out fast, but Disney is usually pretty good at restocking the items. If you know you need it the first week, we’d head straight there. There will likely be long lines here too, so you’ll need to budget some extra time. ©Disney You can’t forget about the ride photo, too! Make sure your Memory Maker (aka how you get photos during your trip) is up to date and associated with your account. ©Disney Sounds like we’re ready to rock! Don’t forget that the attraction opens on May 26th in Hollywood Studios, and keep following Disney Food Blog for all the details you need for opening day and whenever your next visit is. 8. Unpacking at a Disney World hotel should feel like the start of something great, not an immediate scramble for counter space. BAGSMART Travel Toiletry Bag Between multiple family members, overflowing suitcases, and a bathroom the size of a broom closet, the average hotel room can go from organized to chaotic in about ten minutes flat. The good news is that a handful of smart, affordable Amazon finds can completely change that experience, and we’ve been putting them to the test. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. The Hotel Closet Hack You Didn’t Know You Needed BAGSMART 4-Shelf Hanging Packing Cube Most Disney World hotel rooms have a closet or hanging rod, and most people just hang a couple of outfits and call it a day. But if you’re the type who likes to stay actually organized rather than digging through a suitcase every morning, there’s a much better way to use that space. The BAGSMART 4-Shelf Hanging Packing Cube is honestly one of the more clever travel products we’ve come across. It works like a traditional packing cube during transit, so you can compress it down and it fits in your carry-on without taking over your bag. Bagsmart hanging bag Once you’re at the hotel, you unbuckle it, unzip the bottom, and hang it right up. Suddenly, you’ve got three main compartments, a large zipper pocket, a small zipper pocket, and a six-way divider giving you a full organization system right there in the closet. One heads-up: when it’s full, it does take up an entire side of a carry-on, so pack accordingly. But the convenience payoff is real. We gave it a 4 out of 5 and would buy it again, especially for longer trips or if we’re traveling with a lot of stuff. view ON AMAZON One Charger to Rule Them All Charging Station Nothing kills the morning vibe faster than realizing your phone, Apple Watch, or AirPods didn’t charge overnight because someone accidentally knocked the cord out in a dark hotel room. Disney days are long, and you need everything topped off before you leave. This 3-in-1 Charging Station for Apple Devices handles your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously from a single compact unit. It folds up neatly into itself three ways, so it’s just as packable as it is functional. Charging Station There’s a blue light indicator by the charging port that confirms a device is actually connected and charging, which is more useful than it sounds at midnight. The center puck folds up to cradle your Apple Watch like a bedside clock display, which is a genuinely nice touch. We found it for around $22 on sale and called it a resounding 5 out of 5, noting it cut down clutter in a small room significantly. One bonus: the AirPods puck can also charge an iPad in a pinch. view ON AMAZON Your Bathroom Counter Deserves Better Than This BAGSMART Travel Toiletry Bag If you’ve ever stared at a pile of skincare products, makeup, and travel-size toiletries spread across a tiny hotel sink ledge, you already know the problem. There’s never enough room, things tip over, and finding what you need before a 7 AM rope drop is a whole ordeal. The BAGSMART Travel Toiletry Bag is the fix. BAGSMART Travel Toiletry Bag It’s a large-capacity bag with four compartments, two mesh pockets for upright storage of smaller items, and a waterproof PVC front pocket that keeps wet and dry things separate. What really sells it is the double-sided full-open design, which lets everything stand upright in the main compartment instead of rolling around in a pile. We had so much storage that we couldn’t even fill it for a trip to Orlando, which is exactly the kind of problem you want. The fabric quality is genuinely impressive for the price, and that waterproof pocket is a lifesaver for anything that tends to leak in transit. view ON AMAZON The One for Dirty Laundry Nobody Thinks to Pack ©Amazon Multi-day Disney trips create a very real dirty laundry situation, and most people just end up stuffing worn clothes into a corner of their suitcase or a plastic bag. It works, but it’s not exactly the organized hotel room you were going for. A Collapsible Mesh Pop-Up Hamper solves this quietly and takes up almost no space in your bag. It pops open in seconds, collapses just as fast when you’re done, and the breathable mesh keeps things from getting musty between wears. There’s a built-in side pocket for isolating smaller items or keeping things sorted if you’re traveling with kids. It’s one of those low-cost additions that you don’t realize you needed until you have it. It’s easy to overlook, but you’ll be glad you packed it. view ON AMAZON A well-organized hotel room genuinely changes the tone of a Disney World trip. Less time searching for things means more time enjoying the magic, and these four Amazon finds make it surprisingly easy to keep things in order from check-in to checkout. We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! View the full article

  11. Yes, I voluntarily wake up at 2:30 AM to race throughout Disney World, and yes, I know I’m a problem. Springtime Surprise 2026 It may not be everyone’s dream to participate in runDisney, which lets you sign up and race in Disney World before the parks open and get medals and meet characters, and yes, the early alarm clock is the absolute worst part, but for me, it’s a chance to compete against other racers and win an award or two. While a majority of people are not actually competing and are just enjoying being in the parks before they open and checking out some rare character meet and greets (and have a blast doing it), others train to place in the top three, and during runDisney 2026 Springtime Surprise Weekend, I placed in all three races — let’s talk about it. These races can be hard to sign up for, so if it’s something you’re interested in trying, you’ll want to make sure you’re on early to register. The Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend and Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend are already full for the 2026-2027 season, but registration for the Princess Half Marathon, along with next year’s Springtime Surprise Weekend, should be coming up within the next few months (yep, you sign up about nine months in advance). Have you ever raced a runDisney race? Tell me which one in the comments, and make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for everything Disney. 12. Will you be visiting the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival for the first time in 2026? EPCOT Food & Wine Festival display Whether you’re a seasoned EPCOT Food & Wine Festival goer or new to the whole EPCOT festival game, we’re going to do our best to make sure you’re prepared. For starters, we’ll be getting you reviews for every single festival food booth, and outline all there is to see and do at the festival, too. But before we get into that, let’s talk about what you need to know if you’re going to the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. The 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, which runs from August 27th through November 21st, will feature dozens of global marketplace food booths throughout World Showcase, as well as additional locations in the park. There are also some fun activities you can take part in during the festival, including Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt, where you’ll search for hidden Remys throughout World Showcase. Find them all, and you’ll earn a prize! Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak map You can also indulge in a Cheese Crawl, called Emile’s Fromage Montage. You’ll be tasked with ordering five of the suggested cheesy snacks, and when you do, you’ll get a prize! Emile’s Fromage Montage There is also LIVE entertainment. Some of your favorite bands from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s will take to the stage at American Gardens Theater for the Eat to the Beat concert series. John Stamos at the 2025 Eat to the Beat Concert Series So, yes, there is a lot to eat, see, and do…so here are the procedures you need to follow for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Get there early Because there is SO much to the festival, you’ll want to make sure you get to EPCOT early, especially if you have plans to sneak some EPCOT rides into your plans, too. We recommend taking advantage of rope drop, but it’s even better if you can use Early Theme Park Entry, which is available to all Disney World guests. This will get you into EPCOT 30 minutes before everyone else. Food & Wine crowds Now, the festival booths won’t all necessarily be open that early, but that gives you time to knock out a few rides, grab your festival passport, and be ready when the booths start to open. Lines can get long at the booths, so this will give you a head start. Pick up a festival passport The festival passport is your guide to the festival and includes all the food booth menus, information about all the activities, showtimes for the Eat to the Beat concerts, and more. The festival also includes what you need to participate in Emile’s Fromage Montage, too — when you eat an item on the list, you’ll get a sticker for your passport. 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival You can pick up a passport at a display just after you enter EPCOT through either of its entrances or at any of the festival food booths. If you have trouble finding one, just ask a Cast Member. Map out your plan Before you even GO to EPCOT, you should already have an idea of which food booths you want to hit, and which ones are your priority (don’t worry…we’ll help you with that). You don’t want to be running back and forth all over World Showcase and retracing your steps, after all. Map Board at the Food & Wine Festival So figure out which booths you’re going to visit and a strategic route that will get you to them without having to do any backtracking. We’ll drop a map of the food booths before the festival starts, so be looking for that! Bring your appetite Festival day is NOT the best day to visit an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, trust us. There is a LOT of food at the festival, and if you don’t arrive hungry, you might end up missing out on a lot of it. Have a small breakfast (if you must) or have a late breakfast at one of the food booths (there’s even a food booth dedicated to brunch food and drinks). You need to bring your appetite Likewise, don’t book any table service meals for the day. Make the festival your meals, and you’ll be able to try out more food and drinks. Budget The food and drinks at the festival are generally served in small portion sizes, so you will end up ordering a lot more than you intended, meaning you could spend a lot of money throughout your festival day. You should set a budget so you don’t go TOO overboard and stick to it. All the food and drinks really add up A good way to help you budget is to invest in a special festival gift card that you can put a certain amount of money on. Then you can just use that to pay for your festival food and drinks, and know when you’ve spent all the money you’ve allocated for the festival. Figure out your merchandise strategy Will you be wanting festival souvenirs? If so, figure out when you want to shop…do you want to do it early? Or do you want to do it after you’re finished eating and drinking everything? Do you want to do it in the middle of the day? Set aside some time for shopping. 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Merchandise You’ll also want to know HOW you’re shopping for merchandise. Which store (or stores) are you planning on visiting? There are also kiosks set up throughout World Showcase with festival merchandise, too. You don’t want to be running from one location to another, so make a plan. Go multiple days The best strategy to really feel like you’re getting the most out of the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is to go multiple days, if you can. One day really isn’t enough time to try everything, or even everything that might be on your food and drinks list. Multiple days means you’re not rushing from one food booth to the next. Set aside multiple days for the festival Now, we know not everyone can make room in their vacation for multiple days in EPCOT, but if the festival is your priority, you should really consider it. If you can’t, though, you’ll want to make a list of priorities. For example, pick three food booths that are your top priorities, and then have another list of your secondary priorities if you manage to get through your first three. Stay for a show Remember that Eat to the Beat concert series we told you about? You might want to stick around for the show! They usually happen several times in the afternoon and evening, so you have plenty of chances to see some of your favorite performers LIVE. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy In the past, we’ve seen John Stamos with the Beach Boys, Mercy Me, The Fray, Hanson, Bowling For Soup, and other major acts. If you want guaranteed seating, you might also want to consider an Eat to the Beat dining package. 14. Soarin’ Across America officially opens in EPCOT on May 26th, and on July 2nd over at Disneyland Resort, but thanks to Cast Member previews, we’ve already gotten a chance to ride and share our thoughts with you. Soarin’ Across America Disney World Annual Passholder previews will take place soon on May 19th and 20th, so soon more guests will be able to experience the ride, but after sharing our experience on social media, we’ve already heard some things from fellow fans that we can’t help but agree with after riding. In fact, we’d go as far as to say that after riding only a few times, there are three major problems that have been unveiled with this new version of the ride. The Transitions Are Incredibly Important One of the biggest differences between Soarin’ Across America and the two prior versions, Soarin’ Around The World and Soarin’ Over California, is that the transitions aren’t as dramatic, so it means you don’t feel like you move as much in the ride vehicle. While that doesn’t sound like it would be a big issue, the truth is that many Disney fans are in agreement that the lack of transitions makes the ride feel less immersive. Soarin’ Across America This version of the ride is quieter and more peaceful by nature, which we think is totally fine, but the lack of transitions really throws us. If you’ve ridden Soarin’ Around the World, you’re likely used to things like a plane flying right by you to change the scenery, or a wave of the ocean coming up to wash us into the next scene. There isn’t as much of that in this version, and it made some Disney guests feel like the ride was a little disjointed at times. The Smells Are Lacking In this version of the ride, we only counted three smells: grass while in the prairie, the smell of the swamp in Louisiana, and a beautiful hibiscus floral scent in Hawaii. While these are wonderful, it’s a big step down from how many smells are in the other versions of the ride, and that’s another thing that some guests feel takes you out of the experience. Mount Rushmore in Soarin’ Across America The lack of smells helps to make this version the most lowkey, which again, if you’re expecting that going in, it won’t be as shocking, but if you want to be as impressed as you’ve been when seeing the other two versions, you may leave feeling a little let down. To be fully immersed in something, especially in Disney World, it needs to appeal to all of your senses, especially with how overstimulating the parks are in general. It needs to capture your attention in each way, and from a scent standpoint, many people feel this one falls a little flat. Nothing Can Top Soarin’ Over California (Which Is A Little Concerning) All across social media, we’re seeing Disney guests saying that they 100% believe that Soarin’ Over California still comes out on top as the best version of Soarin’. Normally, that wouldn’t be an issue at all, but when you realize that it was an opening day attraction in Disney California Adventure all the way back in 2001, 25 YEARS AGO, and yet more recent versions still can’t top it? Yeah, that’s where we throw a little side eye. Soarin’ Across America Now, this does come down to personal preference, of course, but we’ve yet to see a large number of people saying that Soarin’ Across America is their favorite, or even comes close to the other two. Considering technology has advanced so far in 25 years, especially in Disney theme parks, and yet this one still doesn’t come close? It makes us wonder just how much work went into this version. 15. As Universal’s Epic Universe celebrates its first official anniversary, many guests are still experiencing the Orlando area’s newest theme park for the first time. There are the technologically advanced rides, the perfectly themed snack options, and the souvenirs. Epic Universe However, there’s one purchase that guests can’t take home from Epic Universe, but may end up changing the shape of their day for the better! Epic Universe offers lockers that guests can rent for the whole day to store their belongings or their souvenirs. Located near the park’s main Entrance in Celestial Park, the park offers two sizes: Medium Lockers measuring 11” x 11.75” x 17.7”, available for $15 for the day. Large Lockers measuring 11” x 17.75” x 17.7”, available for $20 for the day. Lockers These lockers provide several benefits. For starters, you can use them to store a change of clothes, which can come in handy at the park for a few reasons. Some guests may want to pack themed outfits to wear in each portal, and swap between, say, Nintendo, Universal Monsters, Harry Potter, and How to Train Your Dragon t-shirts before entering each property’s respective portals, you can. Epic Universe Lockers You can also change clothes for more practical reasons. For example, during a visit, one of our team members rented one of the park’s large lockers to hold her belongings. She brought an extra change of clothes because she knew she wanted to ride Fyre Drill in Isle of Berk and did not want to stay soaked all day. It also poured rain that day, so having an extra change of clothes that she didn’t have to lug around with her all day was a big help! Lockers For whatever reason you want to change clothes, there is a bathroom located right next to the lockers, making a quick change convenient. Celestial Park Beyond changing clothes, the lockers can also be used to store your souvenirs picked up throughout the day, so you don’t need to carry bags through each portal. Mario Motors Of course, these lockers aren’t the only ones you’ll encounter during your Epic Universe day. Riders will need to use standard-sized lockers (11.8 in x 11 in x 13 in) for small loose articles while riding select rides. These free lockers are available in the queues of the following attractions: Hiccup’s Wing Gliders Monster’s Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment Stardust Racers Dark Universe Lockers Next time you make your way to Universal’s Epic Universe, consider renting out a locker at the start of your day. From our experience, it’ll be $20 well spent. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Epic Universe. 16. We’re just a few short days away from getting to ride the NEW Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the details just keep coming out! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Recently, Disney gave us an incredibly in-depth look at the new pre-show, including what some of the new animatronics (like Scooter!) are looking like, as well as the news that Statler and Waldorf have made it into the ride as well! It was in the video highlighting the grumpy duo that we noticed something else that Disney hasn’t directly commented on, but now we know to be true since we’ve seen it with our own eyes — the paint has changed on the iconic limos! You might have to watch it a few times to see, like we did, but yes, it’s clear that at least one of the limos is now red. Since it’s been weeks since we all got to ride the original version of the ride, as a reminder, the limos on the prior version of the ride used to be all gray, as you can see below. The original color of the limos It’s not a surprise to us that the ride vehicles have gotten a new color, considering this version of the ride is MUCH more colorful than before (hello, it’s the MUPPETS!). The guitar outside is now multi-colored, and the limo right at the entrance is also now multi-colored, to match the vibe of The Electric Mayhem’s van, and the new limos look pretty similar. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets We’ll be sure to take note of what colors the limos are when we ride soon, as well as bring you all the other details so you know what to expect going in. 17. There are LOTS of changes coming to the Disney World theme parks. From Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, to Piston Peak in Magic Kingdom and Tropical Americas coming to Animal Kingdom, there are so many huge expansions underway. Not to mention all of the smaller renovations, updates, and ride re-theming also coming to the parks. ©Disney All across Disney, things are changing, and we just got a look into how much one of those changes is costing, so let’s head over to the grave of DinoLand U.S.A and see how much it is costing for Disney to build the Tropical Americas expansion. This new area is going to include Pueblo Esperanza, which holds a large hacienda as well as a play area and a fountain. Guests can also expect an Indiana Jones ride, an Encanto ride, as well as a carousel featuring animals from Disney stories! ©Disney Now this is an extremely large expansion, and we just got an insight into some of the costs of building this new land. Records show that the demolition cost $143,000, electrical installations cost around $1.1 million, and the building structures and the new playground cost around $3 million. Puebla Esperanza model This adds up to a $4.25 million investment, and does not include all of the costs for the entire project. This is a part of the proposed $17 billion investment that Disney has planned for the Orlando theme parks over the next 10 to 20 years. Model of Madrigal’s Casita Tropical Americas was announced back in 2024 and is currently set to open sometime in 2027. We are so excited to see all the changes coming to Disney World. ©Disney || Tropical Americas Land coming to Animal Kingdom On May 26th, guests can expect to experience the all-new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, Soarin’ Across America, Bluey’s Wild World, and Walt Disney Studios. 18. If you’ve ever wished your Disney day could last just a little bit longer, there’s good news — it can! Cinderella Castle at night Sometimes, rope drop to fireworks just doesn’t feel like enough time at Disney. While Magic Kingdom may officially close at a certain time, there are a few little-known tricks that can help you stretch out the magic after the clock strikes closing time. If you plan your evening the right way, you can enjoy a calmer, quieter version of Magic Kingdom that feels extra special. One of the biggest secrets to staying in Magic Kingdom after it closes is getting in line for an attraction right before the park officially shuts down. As long as you enter the queue before the posted closing time — yes, even one minute before — Disney will still allow you to ride. That means if Magic Kingdom closes at 10PM and you hop in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Space Mountain at 9:59 PM, you’re good to go! Cast Members will close the line at the official park closing time, but anyone already inside the queue can still experience the attraction, pending mechanical or weather issues. Space Mountain This strategy can seriously maximize your park day, especially if you save a high-wait attraction for the very end of the night. Not only do you squeeze in one more ride, but you’ll often exit the attraction to a much emptier park. There’s something incredibly magical about walking through Fantasyland or Tomorrowland with fewer crowds around, and it can make for some unforgettable photos, too. The Space Mountain queue Another way to enjoy extra time in Magic Kingdom is by shopping on Main Street, U.S.A., after the park closes. Many of the shops near the front of the park remain open for up to an hour after official closing time, giving guests time to browse, pick up souvenirs, or make those last-minute snack purchases before heading out. This is especially helpful if you don’t want to spend valuable ride time shopping earlier in the day. Magic Kingdom at night Shopping after the park closes can actually make your exit much less stressful. Instead of fighting the immediate crowds rushing toward the buses, Monorail, or ferryboats, you can take your time browsing the Emporium while transportation lines thin out a bit. Plus, Main Street at night has a completely different atmosphere once the crowds begin to clear. The music, lights, and Cinderella Castle glowing in the distance make it one of the most peaceful times to be in Magic Kingdom. The Emporium Dining reservations can also help extend your evening in the park. Booking one of the latest reservation times available at a Magic Kingdom restaurant can buy you extra time inside the gates after the park officially closes. Restaurants like Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, The Plaza Restaurant, and Liberty Tree Tavern often offer reservations close to park closing, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely meal while most guests are already heading home. Cinderella’s Royal Table Fireworks View There’s an added bonus to late-night dining reservations, too. When you finish your meal, you may get to stroll through a mostly empty park on your way out. While you won’t be able to hop on attractions after your meal unless you were already in line before closing, you can still soak in the atmosphere for a little longer. Main Street, U.S.A. Of course, there’s one important thing to keep in mind when using these “after-hours” tricks: always be respectful of Disney Cast Members. While Disney does allow guests to finish rides, shop, or dine after official park closing, Cast Members are working hard to safely close down the park and finish their shifts. Don’t intentionally linger far beyond closing time or ignore directions from Cast Members when it’s time to exit. A little courtesy goes a long way in keeping the Disney magic alive for everyone. Cinderella Castle Magic Kingdom may technically close each night, but that doesn’t mean your evening has to end immediately. Whether you’re hopping in one final ride queue, shopping on Main Street after hours, or enjoying a late dinner reservation, there are several ways to extend the magic just a bit longer. 19. In a recent interview at the MoffettNathanson’s Media, Internet & Communications Conference, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Hugh Johnston, talked about multiple changes and updates that could be on their way to the company. ©Disney He talked about the future of Disney Cruise Line and international ports, park expansions, and how travel prices are impacting visitors coming to the parks, among many other topics. Something that really piqued our curiosity, though, was his discussion on Disney creating an all-in-one app in the future. This isn’t the first we’ve heard of this idea, but thanks to the recent interview, we got a bit more information about what it could look like. Currently, there are numerous Disney apps out there. For being in the parks, you’ve got the My Disney Experience App, the Disneyland App, as well as the Play Disney Parks app if you’re looking for some extra fun while you’re wandering around. Then, for entertainment, we’ve got the Disney+ app, plus the Hulu and ESPN apps (though the Hulu app will be gone by the end of this year, and all content will be integrated into Disney+), which are also owned by Disney, but are their own separate apps to download. That’s a lot of apps if you’ve got all of them! ©Disney Not every Disney fan out there needs every single app, but as Hugh Johnston doubled down on in this recent interview, Disney is looking into the possibility of creating an all-in-one app in the near future. This app would be EVERYTHING Disney, all in exactly one place. Yes, that means you’d potentially use the same app to watch your favorite movies and shows, as well as book your Lightning Lanes and dining reservations in both Disneyland and Disney World My Disney Experience app ©Disney What’s the main idea behind doing this, though? Well, Hugh Johnston said that the company sees it as a significant competitive advantage that’s hard to replicate. Johnston continued to say that the company feels the all-in-one app would give them the ability to compete successfully and “win with that set of assets.” More Recent Disney News! 20. Summer 2026 is about to kick into high gear at Walt Disney World, but there are some things guests preparing for a June stay at a Disney World hotel need to know. They’re already hard at work From dining closures and refurbishments to special offers and even FREE access to two in-demand Disney World parks, a lot is going on at Disney World’s on-property hotels in June. The Polynesian Resort Let’s begin at arguably Walt Disney World’s most legendary resort, the opening day favorite Polynesian. The resort’s boat dock has been undergoing routine maintenance since May, which will last all the way through late June. In fact, boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom will still be unavailable until June 6th. The dock is closed! Furthermore, two of the resort’s most popular restaurants are under refurbishment. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace has been closed since mid-April thanks to refurbishment work at the Grand Ceremonial House, with a scheduled reopening in late June. Closed for now Meanwhile, at Wailulu Bar & Grill in the Island Tower, refurbishment work on the roof has the restaurant offering walk-up service only until 5:00 PM, with seating from 5:00 PM until closing through late June. Wailulu Bar & Grill Old Key West Resort During early June 2026, the resort’s Hospitality House (AKA the resort’s lobby and central hub) will undergo exterior maintenance work, during which guests may see or hear work during daytime hours and at times may be directed to take alternate paths of travel. Old Key West Lobby Saratoga Springs The Turf Club’s lounge over at Saratoga Springs has been closed since April for a refurbishment scheduled to last until mid-August, while the full restaurant remains open. This is actually the first of three Turf Club closures to come this year, as the Turf Club Patio will have a brief closure from early through mid-August, and then the full Turf Club Bar & Grill will be closed from August into September, with the Turf Club Lounge remaining open. Lounge area Yacht Club The resort’s New England-themed Yachtsman Steakhouse closed in May for a refurbishment running through August, meaning it will be unavailable for the entirety of June. Yachtsman Steakhouse In addition, the following long-term hotel projects will be going on through June: Fort Wilderness Meadow Swimmin’ Pool Construction: Through Mid-2026. Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas Refurbishment: Through September 2026. Boardwalk Exterior Refurbishment: Through Late 2026. Wilderness Lodge Exterior Refurbishment: Through Late 2026. Yacht Club Exterior Maintenance: Through Late 2026. All-Star Movies Refurb: May 2026 to January 2027. Cool Kids’ Summer While Cool Kids Summer technically begins May 26th, the event’s hotel perks will continue through June, including the free water park perk for hotel guests, which gives each member of a guest’s party admission to one of Walt Disney World’s water parks on their check-in day. Blizzard Beach Furthermore, the following perks will be available at the Caribbean Beach Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Art of Animation Resort, and Pop Century Resort: Scheduled Character Appearances: Meet some favorite Disney pals—like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse—during scheduled appearances. Special Libraries: Little ones can celebrate Disney stories in libraries provided by Disney Publishing, where the magic of their imaginations can come alive with tales of princesses, heroes, and more. Pajama Party: Wind down with your family during story time! Participate in a “create your own bedtime story” activity, where the magic of a good book comes to life with the arrival of a favorite Disney Character. Pool Party: Make a splash at a high-energy poolside experience with games and music for the whole family. Campfire: Gather ‘round for a celebration filled with marshmallows and Disney-infused entertainment. Pop Century Guests staying at these Walt Disney World hotels this June should prepare to encounter — and perhaps have to plan around — some closures, but they’ll also be able to enjoy some PERKS! 21. Recently, Disney CFO Hugh Johnson spoke at MoffettNathanson’s Media, Internet & Communications Conference. He shared many insights into current projects and the future of the Disney Company. Disney Adventure He also shared some information on Disney Cruise Line, which showed us we should expect to see more international ships in the future. Let’s get into everything we learned from the presentation. Disney has been rapidly growing their cruise line presence over the past several years. Including the Disney Destiny, which opened last year domestically, and the extremely popular Disney Adventure, which made its maiden voyage out of Singapore earlier this year. Disney Adventure Johnson noted, “Our fill rate on the ships is just as high this year as it was last year, despite all of the new capacity that we’ve added in.” Meaning that even with all the new ships entering the fleet, the fill rate has remained high across the entire fleet. Disney Adventure And Johnson believes this is in large part due to the expansion into international ports, “One of the things that I think is beneficial to what we’re doing right now is we’re starting to put ships outside of our traditional ports. Obviously, the Adventure is in Singapore, and it’s a massive ship. It’s double the size of anything that we’ve done before. And we really sold out a season of that ship in just a handful of days.” San Fransokyo Street Johnson believes the key to continued growth for Disney Cruise Line is to continue to provide international Disney experiences where the demand is extremely high. Let’s go to the tavern! While he did not leave any clues as to where these additional international ships could be, this presentation did make it extremely clear that we should expect to see more international Disney Cruises in the future. 22. Have you ever thought about buying Disney stock, but maybe you weren’t too sure if you should? The Walt Disney Company The financial industry is full of experts and analysts who can look at company finances and stock prices and give you an idea of whether you should invest in a specific stock at a specific time. In Disney’s case, it seems that these analysts have a mixed message, with some saying you shouldn’t buy stock in Disney now, while others say you should. So let’s take a closer look. During its Q2 Earnings Call, Disney reported that it saw “stronger-than-expected” revenue growth with revenues increasing 7% for the second quarter to $25.2 billion, up from $23.6 billion in Q2 2025. That might make a strong case for buying Disney stock right now, but according to The Motley Fool, Disney doesn’t even make the top 10 best stocks for investors to buy right now. The Motley Fool also pointed out that Disney stock is down about 7% year to date and is down more than 42% over the past five years. Walt Disney Company Headquarters in Burbank According to Yahoo! Finance, though, Disney has been listed as one of the 10 Best U.S. Stocks to Invest in. According to Billionaires, after Citi raised its price target on Disney from $135 to $145 on May 8th, it kept a “Buy” rating on the stock. This was due to the Q2 2026 earnings report, as well as Disney’s expectation of 12% growth for fiscal year 2026 and double-digit growth for fiscal year 2027. Disney also recently said that it was betting $8 billion in share repurchases over the coming year. Walt Disney Studios in Burbank Perhaps the analysts suggesting now is a good time to buy Disney stock are looking to a future where Disney has all of its offerings under one super app, something Disney is reportedly currently considering. The Motley Fool writes that if Disney can pull a super app off, it could be what investors have been waiting for. That makes Disney stock “a potentially strong long-term buy for investors.” Partners Statue in Burbank It seems the answer to “Should you buy Disney stock?” isn’t so cut and dry, making it a question that’s very difficult to answer right now. Disney is growing in many of its markets by expanding its U.S. theme parks and Disney Cruise Line, continuing to focus on streaming profitability, and more. The company is looking to grow, and that could mean its stock price could go up from where it is now, making it a good buy. 23. ©Disney Things are almost ALWAYS changing in Disney World! Lately, it feels like the parks are entirely new places thanks to updates like Villains Land, Piston Peak, Monsters Inc. Land, and more. In fact, we’re just a few days away from a MAJOR day in the parks with so many new attractions, entertainment options, and more. Ahead of the big changes, Disney has been dropping teasers and previews that have us ridiculously excited for what’s to come. Let’s dive into this week’s latest and greatest Disney news! Cool KIDS’ Summer is just days away from kicking off in Disney World. This means a lot of summer fun is starting soon, and Disney has made sure to give us just enough news that has us itching for May 26th in Disney World. SO MUCH MUPPET NEWS! They gave us a first look at the upcoming Scooter animatronic, as well as the audio engineers (the penguins). ©Disney They also showed us what the on-ride photos will look like. There will be three different frames so you can choose which you like best! We love how colorful they are. ©Disney What’s a new ride without some merchandise? Disney also teased new shirts, hats, pins, accessories, and more that will be dropping when the ride opens. ©Disney Finally, Disney also shared the FULL menu for the new snack stand called FØØD by Swedish Chef. ©Disney The new food truck will have Wocka Wocking Nachos, Churro Drumsticks, Mayhem Soft-serve Float, The Pink Le-moi-nade, and Pond Water Limeade. They’re also bringing back the classic corn dog nuggets as well as some other staple items. ©Disney It was a BIG news week for Muppet fans, and this has only made us even more excited for the coaster to open. The popular EPCOT attraction is getting a big makeover for America’s 250th birthday. Disney closed the attraction to make the switch to the new version of the ride, but it wasn’t closed for long! 24. Disney Vacation Club perks are having a very busy 2026, and yes, there is fine print. There is always fine print. Disney fine print does not sleep. It merely waits under the bed with a tiny legal notepad. DVC kiosk in EPCOT But if you’re an eligible DVC Member, 2026 is bringing some legitimately interesting savings, upgraded access, and limited-time extras that could make your next Disney trip a little cheaper, a little easier, or at the very least, slightly more smug when you tell your group, “Don’t worry, I have a perk for that.” The big catch? Not all DVC owners automatically qualify for every perk listed here. Many of these offers are part of Membership Extras, which Disney says require an eligible Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID. Disney’s Membership Extras disclosure also states that, effective June 3rd, 2021, Members must have at least 150 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development to obtain a DVC Membership Card, and that purchasers who acquire an ownership interest from someone other than Disney are not eligible for the Program or its benefits. ©Disney Translation: resale-only Members may not qualify, depending on when and how they purchased. Check your account before mentally spending that discount money on Mickey waffles. 1. A New Walt Disney World Weekday Ticket Deal One of the biggest 2026 perks is tied to Membership Magic Beyond, Disney Vacation Club’s optional enhanced benefit package. Eligible Members can purchase the 2026 benefits package for $99, and one of the standout additions is a specially priced 5-day weekday Walt Disney World ticket. Disney lists this as new for 2026 and says it can save Members up to $140 per ticket compared to the non-discounted price of a standard ticket. Theme Park Ticket The especially interesting part? These tickets include 5 water park or sports-related visits. So if your family is the kind that says, “We’re just going to take it easy this trip,” and then somehow ends up rope-dropping a theme park, visiting a water park, and mini-golfing like there’s a trophy involved, this could actually work hard for you. Typhoon Lagoon Wave Pool The fine print matters here. This offer is part of Membership Magic Beyond, so you have to be eligible for Membership Extras and enrolled in the 2026 add-on. The 2026 Walt Disney World offer allows savings of up to $140 per pass and includes 5 water park or sports visits. 2. Disneyland Gets a Weekday Ticket Deal, Too Disneyland Resort also gets a 2026 Membership Magic Beyond ticket offer, and this one is especially worth watching if you’re planning a West Coast trip. Eligible enrolled Members can purchase specially priced 3-day weekday Disneyland Resort theme park tickets that include Lightning Lane Multi Pass. That little phrase is doing some heavy lifting, because “includes Lightning Lane Multi Pass” is not the kind of sentence Disney travelers casually ignore. The Disneyland 3-day weekday pass includes Lightning Lane each day and can save up to $177 per ticket. That is not “buy yourself a chimichanga” money. That is “the spreadsheet has entered the chat” money. Matterhorn Bobsleds Lightning Lane in Disneyland More fine print, because of course: The special weekday 3-day tickets are valid only on weekdays beginning January 12th, 2026, and expire 13 days after first use or on December 18th, 2026, whichever comes first. So this is not a “buy now, wander in whenever your heart and PTO align” situation. 3. A New Aulani Photo Print Perk Heading to Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawaiʻi? Eligible Membership Magic Beyond Members have a new 2026 benefit waiting for them: an 8×10 photo print during their stay. Disney specifically lists this as a new 2026 benefit. Is an 8×10 photo print going to pay your annual dues? No. Let’s not get carried away. But a vacation photo at Aulani is exactly the sort of thing that feels sweet, useful, and mildly dangerous to anyone who has ever told themselves, “I’m not buying the photo package this time,” and then immediately folded like a beach chair. Mickey at Disney’s Aulani Resort To use this one, you’ll need to be enrolled in Membership Magic Beyond, and Members should visit Hoku Hideaway after enrollment for instructions. FULL TOUR: A Look Inside a Hotel Room at Disney’s Aulani Resort 4. A Big VIP Tour Discount Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can save 20% on Disney Private VIP Tours at Walt Disney World Resort on select dates in 2026. The offer is valid from April 26th through October 3rd, 2026, with blockout dates May 22nd through 24th and July 3rd through 5th. This is one of those discounts that sounds fancy because it is fancy. Disney Private VIP Tours are already a splurge, so 20% off does not magically turn them into a budget travel hack. This is still not “we packed sandwiches and drank free ice water” territory. This is “we are outsourcing chaos” territory. VIP Tour But if you were already considering a VIP Tour, especially for a multigenerational group, a milestone trip, or a “we have three days, and everyone has opinions” vacation, 20% off could make a very real difference. 5. McKim’s Mile House Is Open Later The Disney Vacation Club lounge at Magic Kingdom, McKim’s Mile House, is now listed as open daily from 11AM to 8PM, subject to change. That’s a meaningful upgrade from the earlier 6PM closing time, because nothing says “theme park survival” quite like an air-conditioned place to sit after your group has entered the 4PM spiral. McKim’s Mile House McKim’s Mile House is located in Frontierland in the former Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade space, and it offers seating, complimentary soft drinks, Wi-Fi, Member Services Advisors, and charging cords available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis. This is not a discount, technically. But more lounge time in Magic Kingdom absolutely counts as a perk, especially during a hot, crowded day when your phone battery is at 7%, your patience is at 3%, and someone in your party just asked, “Should we ride Jungle Cruise now?” An EXCLUSIVE Magic Kingdom Spot Is Extending Its Hours 6. Welcome Home Weeks Brings Up to 40% Off Select Disney World Dining Welcome Home Weeks are back for 2026 from July 22nd through August 26th, and this year’s lineup includes some very real food savings. During the event, eligible Members can save up to 40% on food and nonalcoholic beverages at select Walt Disney World table-service restaurants, Mondays through Thursdays. s Participating restaurants include Hollywood & Vine, Tusker House, Biergarten, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Tiffins, Coral Reef, Garden Grill, Trattoria al Forno, and more. Some Magic Kingdom restaurants are listed at 20% instead of 40%, including The Crystal Palace and Be Our Guest Restaurant. Our whole meal at Whispering Canyon The restrictions are important: this is dine-in only, applies to food and nonalcoholic beverages only, requires a valid DVC Digital Membership Card and government-issued photo ID, and does not apply to certain menu items, special events, or combine with other discounts. Still, up to 40% off Disney table-service dining is the kind of discount that can make your calculator sit up straighter. 7. Disneyland Gets a Welcome Home Weeks Mobile Order Discount Over at Disneyland Resort, Welcome Home Weeks includes 20% off one quick-service mobile order at select locations through the Disneyland app. This offer runs from July 22nd through August 26th, 2026, and is limited to one discount code per eligible Member. Magic Key Sampler Box The important little goblin in the details: this must be redeemed through Mobile Order and is not valid for in-person orders at the register. So don’t march up to a Cast Member with the confidence of a pirate captain and expect the discount to appear because you said “DVC” with conviction. Use the app. Save the money. Let technology do one nice thing for once. 8. Welcome Home Weeks Includes Free Treats and Member-Only Extras The 2026 Welcome Home Weeks lineup also includes several smaller perks that can add up, especially if your vacation style is “accept every free Disney snack like it is a sacred quest.” Eligible Members can enjoy complimentary frozen treats at select Disney locations, like Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, ice cream sandwiches, or fruit bars on select dates. Mickey Ice-Cream Bar There are also Welcome Home Wakeup events with coffee and morning treats at select resorts, plus character encounters at select DVC locations.
