We’ve known about this live-action prequel for a while, but we’ve officially got our first look at what the movie will look like. We also just got a video of Cast Members reacting to the trailer for the first time — and we cannot stop smiling. WARNING: if you keep reading, you’ll probably be put in a super good mood. Seeing baby Mufasa for the first time is our favorite part! ©Disney Mufasa: The Lion King tells the story of Mufasa and his rise to being the king of the Pride Lands. The story is being relayed by Rafiki to Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala. The story will be told through flashbacks, beginning with Mufasa as an orphaned cub. ©Disney The movie promises an “expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny.” The movie looks like it will be full of action and features a fantastic cast of voice actors.
