In March, it was announced that Tortilla Jo’s would be closing forever, but then they extended their closure date by a week. However, that week has come to an end, and the restaurant will close permanently on April 8th.

Tortilla Jo’s was home to some truly amazing tableside guacamole, so we’re sad to see it go.

The restaurant will be available on the Disneyland App for reservations throughout the day, and the walk-up waitlist will also be available. However, after today, the restaurant will officially close.

So why is this delicious Mexican restaurant going away? Well, Downtown Disney will be getting 3 NEW Mexican restaurants called Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán.

We know that all three will be located on the west side of Downtown Disney, and that Tiendita will be a quick service restaurant, Paseo will be a table service restaurant, and Céntrico will be a courtyard bar and restaurant with “high-end Mexican-inspired small plate menu” along with “tequila-based cocktails.”

So far the opening timeline for Paseo and Céntrico is Spring 2024, but we don’t have a solid opening for Tiendita just yet. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on that timeline, so stay tuned to DFB!

Don’t forget, this popular Disneyland ride has CHANGED!
