Southwest Plane

As we all know, flying comes with some challenges like how many carry-on bags and personal items can you bring? Are snacks included? What is the cancellation policy? And if you’re flying Southwest soon, we thought we’d let you know about some things you’re going to need to bring with you!

To be fair, flying with any airline is a challenge with all their particular rules and stipulations, but we’re talking about Southwest right now. In case you didn’t know, in order to keep prices low, there are some things that you have to do without, or in this case, there are some things you’re going to want to pack with you.

Let’s dive right in!

A Portable Charger/Charging Cords

Since Southwest doesn’t have outlets on most of their planes, it’ll be up to you to keep your devices charged while you fly, and you can do that with a portable charger like a FuelRod.

Also, if you’re heading to Disney World, the FuelRod will really come in handy — you can swap your dead one for a free fully charged one at their FuelRod Stations around the resort. And on Amazon, you can get a pack of two for about what it will cost you to get one at the parks. On top of that, a lot of airports have spots where you can exchange your dead FuelRod for a fully charged one!

Add them to your cart!

Headphones

Some airlines have TVs on the back of their seats or other screens that come down for people to enjoy. These airlines typically pass out headphones to those onboard. That likely won’t be the case on your standard Southwest airlines. So, we’d recommend checking out a pair of Soundcore Anker Life Q20 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones to keep you properly entertained the whole flight.

These Bluetooth headphones will connect to any of your devices and provide you with up to 40 hours of playtime in wireless active noise cancellation mode, which is more than enough for any flight!

A Travel Pillow/Blanket

You know those airline seats aren’t exactly the most comfortable, so make sure you pack a Travel Blanket Pillow for the flight.

It even comes with its own carrying bag, so you don’t have to worry about the pillow getting dirty around the airport before you rest your head on it.

A Sleep Mask

While we’re talking about resting on the plane, you might as well pack a Sleep Mask to help block out all the light.

And we’re not talking about just any sleep mask. This weighted sleep mask will have you sleeping faster and deeper so you’re rested and ready to go when you land.

Ear Plugs

You’ve got your travel pillow behind your head and your weighted eye mask on. What’s missing? Well, if you’re not going to use your headphones, then a pair of Ear Plugs of course.
