We don’t mean to make you paranoid, but you are ALWAYS being watched when you visit Disney World. 👀

He’s watching you…

Wait — you didn’t know that? Surely, you know about all the security cameras and security personnel in the parks, right? There’s a reason they show up so quickly when anything goes down. But we’re not even talking about that. Instead, we’re talking about how other visitors are watching you (cue “Somebody’s Watching Me” on Spotify). But there are some places where you may not even realize visitors are probably watching you.

Okay, so we really don’t mean to make you paranoid, but we’ve got some experience people watching in Disney World, and quite honestly, it can be a lot of fun to see what other visitors are doing. Sometimes we even get to witness some pretty magical moments that happen in the parks. So here are the spots where you can REALLY get your eyes on folks in Disney World.

France Pavilion at EPCOT

Have you ever visited the France Pavilion at EPCOT and felt like someone might be watching you? Well, they are! The Skyliner gives a good bird’s eye view of everything going on in that pavilion, and yes, we’re always seeing what people are up to there.

You get a GREAT view of France from the Skyliner

This also gives a good idea of what the line for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is like, as well as see just how crowded the pavilion can be (and it is often crowded). But mostly, we’re just looking at y’all buying shoulder Remy plushes and eating crêpes.

This Is the BEST Thing at EPCOT Right Now, and You Can’t Tell Us Otherwise.

Tomorrowland

While some folks are making their way to Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear’s Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, others are heading over to ride the PeopleMover. We bet you never even thought about how you can see folks in Tomorrowland from the PeopleMover, right? Well, YOU CAN.

The PeopleMover above Star Traders

The PeopleMover takes you on a tour through Tomorrowland and even goes through Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Ranger Spin, and Star Traders (where you can judge people’s purchasing decisions) and you can see ALL (well, maybe not all, but you see a lot).

My Biggest Regret About Going to Magic Kingdom

The Front of EPCOT

If you’ve ever been on the Monorail, you might know that you get a GREAT view of the front of EPCOT from the train, right? But if you’re on the ground in the front of EPCOT, you’re probably not even thinking about how the people on the Monorail can see everything you’re doing. But they can.

People on the Monorail can see you

As far as we go, though? We’re just mostly looking down at Spaceship Earth to see how many people are in line and admiring Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana (and everyone walking through it) from above.

Chef Mickey’s

You’re probably so busy having a great time with all the characters at Chef Mickey’s that you’ve never even bothered to look up. If you did look up, though, you might have seen some people upstairs at Disney’s Contemporary Resort staring back down at you.

People can see you from above!

We’ll admit that this is one of our favorite spots to people watch because we can see the characters at the restaurant, too, and enjoy some of those fun interactions those dining in Chef Mickey’s are having.

Front of Magic Kingdom

If you’ve ever walked up the steps to take the Walt Disney World Railroad train from its Main Street, U.S.A. station, you might have looked down at all those people at the front of Magic Kingdom. Granted, we usually just take in the view of Main Street itself, but you can’t help but see all the people, too.

This is a great spot to get a view of Main Street, U.S.A.

This is another great spot to people watch, but it’s even better if you want a great view of the Festival of Fantasy parade (although you’ll need to get up there early for the best vantage point).

Pinocchio Village Haus

Yes, you aren’t even safe from being watched when you’re eating. One reason we love Pinocchio Village Haus is that it has upper level seating. That means we can people watch WHILE we’re eating, and we will almost ALWAYS go upstairs when we dine here.

Upstairs at Pinocchio’s Village Haus

So the next time you’re having a meal or snack at Pinocchio Village Haus, just look up and wave to the people on the second floor. Might as well make some friends while you’re there, right?

So no matter where you are in Disney World, people are going to see you, but you’ll be seen more in some places than others. It’s nothing to be bothered about, though — because if people are watching us, they’re just going to see us having the time of our lives in the Most Magical Place on Earth.
