Disney4me Posted December 18, 2023 Report Share Posted December 18, 2023 It’s Christmas week in Disney World, and you know what that means! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! It’s about to get busy! Christmas week is one of the most popular weeks to visit Disney World, and we understand why. It’s so festive around the parks during the holidays. Everything is decorated, Christmas music can be heard everywhere, and we can’t forget about the SNOAP. But because of how even MORE magical it is this week, we all want to be there. However, if you don’t already have your park reservations made, you might be out of luck, at least in one park. We were looking on the Disney website today and noticed that park passes are getting very limited this week. There is a lot of yellow (meaning at least one park is sold out on those days) for ticket holders. Magic Kingdom is sold out on multiple days and Hollywood Studios is sold out on the 19th! We are expecting those days to be very busy and won’t be surprised if the price of Genie+ jumps up on those days, too. ©Disney Luckily, resort guests have a bit more flexibility when it comes to picking their park this week, but it’s still fairly limited. Both options, however, have limited options on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Magic Kingdom is pretty much sold out on every yellow-blocked day for guests of resorts and general ticket holders. ©Disney It’s not uncommon for multiple Disney World parks to fill to capacity on these major holidays. So if you haven’t made park reservations yet, it will be good to be a bit more flexible. Also, after December 19th, most Annual Passholders will no longer be able to enter the parks. This could cause December 19th to be extremely busy! Christmas in Magic Kingdom We’ll be keeping tabs on the crowds and Genie+ this week, so keep checking back for updates.
