Pirates of the Caribbean Yep, Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom is one of the attractions that is considered to be an OG — with this attraction popping up just two years after the official opening of the park in 1971, and six years after the attraction arrived to Disneyland. Well, on December 15th, Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction reached a HUGE milestone. December 15th marks Pirates of the Caribbean’s 50th Anniversary at Disney World! Yep, 50 whole years of sailing, singing, and… stealing some treasure, of course. Pirates of the Caribbean To celebrate, Disney shared some photos from waaaaay back in the day when the attraction was being built.
