McDonald’s had us reeling over its recent releases of Crocs and nostalgic Happy Meal toys while Starbucks has been announcing new wintertime deals and even released a whole lineup of drinks to celebrate Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour at Disney Springs. Now we’ve got another fast food restaurant that’s hoping its latest menu additions make you think twice about stopping anywhere else!

McDonald’s has shaken up the fast food world with their latest spin-off restaurant, CosMc’s, where you can get some quirky menu items including adventurous drinks, plenty of coffee drinks, and other caffeinated beverages, along with lots of different breakfast items.

This new spin-off restaurant seems to be trying to keep up with Starbucks, which is another popular stop for all things caffeinated, coffee, refreshing beverages, and light bites.

We went to the NEW McDonald’s spin-off restaurant — See a first look here!

Now, it appears that Taco Bell wants in on the coffee and caffeine stop trend, and they’re adding some new drinks to test out demand — Coffee Chillers and Churro Chillers are coming to their menu lineup soon.

These additions will be a first for Taco Bell. The chilled treats are promoted to complement Taco Bell’s existing menu items. But don’t get too excited to run out to your local Taco Bell JUST yet! These exclusive menu items are just starting their market testing phase in a two-restaurant test in Southern California and will be available all day at just a couple of locations (while supplies last) starting December 15th. Coffee Chillers will be available at the Taco Bell located at 27770 Santa Margarita Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, while Churro Chillers will be available at the Taco Bell location at 2222 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606.

These frozen concoctions are inspired by authentic Mexican flavors, and each offers colorful swirls packed with flavor in the pick-me-up drink. Coffee Chillers will be served in a 16oz cup, swirled with a delicious flavor poured with blended iced coffee, and topped with a layer of cold foam. The debuting flavors will be offered in Mexican Chocolate, Caramel Churro, and Spiced Vanilla. Churro Chillers will also be served in a 16oz cup that’s also swirled with similar flavor on the inside and mixed with a blended sweet shake topped with a layer of cold foam and churro crumbles. Their debuting flavors will include Mexican Chocolate, Dulce de Leche Coffee, Wild Strawberry, and Sweet Vanilla.

But would it really be Taco Bell, without an added twist? The Sweet Vanilla Churro Chiller is visually interesting, with its purple tint. All flavors will be available at these select locations for $4.19 for a limited time only while supplies last (excluded from Happier Hour).

We’re eager to see how these new coffee beverages wager for Taco Bell and if that helps set them up for success in the future building out more locations to offer these drinks. Be sure to follow us for more food news and more at Disney Food Blog!
