We know you know about the fun interactions you can have with the 50th Anniversary character statues and living your best bounty-hunting life over at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But, did you know that your MagicBand+ can even interact with rides?! That’s right! They can do that. Let’s go over the rides you can interact with! Magic Kingdom Rides At Magic Kingdom, we’ve seen our bands interact with rides like Haunted Mansion… Haunted Mansion …where at the end of the ride it glows red and starts pulsing like a heartbeat! We’ve also seen our bands interact with TRON Lightcycle / Run… TRON Lightcycle / Run …where they synchronize with the launch! EPCOT Rides So far, we’ve seen our bands interact with rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure… Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure …and it almost looks like it’s flashing the French Flag. That has to be on purpose, right? If you tilt your head and squint…it’s almost the French flag Of course, EPCOT’s newest ride got the interactive upgrade too! In the exit area of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we were able to get the interaction to activate. Cosmic Rewind Our band started flashing blue lights and vibrating. MagicBand+ at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Let’s hop to Hollywood Studios to see which rides interact with MagicBand+ there! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Rides We also had an interaction as we exited Tower of Terror… Tower of Terror at night is spooky …where it gave us red lighting and vibrations. Tower of Terror As we exited Muppet*Vision 3D, we noticed something on the MagicBand+. Muppet*Vision 3D Our band started vibrating and flashing rainbow lighting! It continued for quite some time as we walked around the area. Fun Lighting For Muppet Vision! Over at the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, the attraction’s exit and photo room also initiated a bright interaction. Ready to ROCK?! The band flashes blue, aqua, purple, and red, and vibrates! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster If you ride Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, there’s a little interaction with your MagicBand+ there too! Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Our band lit up orange and white, along with some haptic vibrations. MagicBand+ Lighting Up with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Disney’s Animal Kingdom Rides Avatar Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers a little surprise as you exit, as well… Flight of Passage in Pandora …with your MagicBand+ lighting up with jewel tones reminiscent of the bioluminescent flora and fauna of Pandora! Wanna see Pandora at night? Better find a day the park has late hours! These are all of the rides we’ve seen interactions with so far.
