At the end of your hectic, fun, ridiculously-packed-with-plans-and-events Disney World vacation, sometimes it feels like you need another vacation to actually rest and recharge. Getting up at 6:30AM to make rope drop at Animal Kingdom isn’t exactly a super relaxing time.

The Orlando International Airport just made an announcement that’s seriously tempting us to add another vacation to the end of our Disney World trip!

The Orlando International Airport announced on Twitter that it’s adding a NEW nonstop flight! Iberojet Air will begin nonstop service soon between Orlando and Madrid, Spain.

The service begins on June 23rd, 2024, and right now the airline has plans to continue it through September 15th. When we checked on Iberojet’s website, the flights between Orlando and Madrid were all on Sundays.

So what do you say — want to book a trip to Spain right after your Disney World vacation? There isn’t a Spain pavilion in the EPCOT World Showcase (though some of the EPCOT festivals do feature a Spain-themed food booth), so surely it just makes sense that we need to hop over there to experience the culture, try the food, and take in the beautiful architecture.
