REVIEW: Animal Kingdom Finally Got Something NEW For the Holidays!

It’s officially December and we’re celebrating with all kinds of new treats around Disney World. From Present Peppermint Brownie Pops to the ‘Olu Mel Holiday Float, there are so many ways to satisfy your sweet tooth this month. Come with us to Creature Comforts to try the new mousse dome creation!

The new Holiday Mousse Dome is a Chocolate cake brownie with a chocolate mousse dome, filled with cranberry orange. Today we picked it up for $7.99.

We really enjoyed the mix of chocolate and tart flavors! It had a nice whipped creamy consistency; and while it was very mildly flavored, it paired well with the strong orange flavor.

Also, the chocolate base added a ton of chocolate flavor too. It’s soft and a little chewy with a not overly-sweet, chocolate flavor.

We also liked the sprinkles, because they added a fun, crunchy texture to an otherwise soft treat.

We didn’t love the icing around the side as it tasted a bit cheap and wasn’t very creamy. Also, it didn’t hold up well in the heat.

Aside from the icing on the side, we think this is worth checking out — especially if you love chocolate and tart and sweet combos.
