Children and adults around the world fell in love with Gambon’s portrayal of the kind, wise, and selfless Hogwarts Headmaster. At 82 years old, Gambon has passed away, leaving behind a magical legacy celebrated by many across the globe. ABC News shared on Thursday, September 28th that actor Michael Gambon passed away peacefully at a hospital with his wife and son at his bedside, after a bout of pneumonia. ©Variety While the story is still developing, a statement from the family said, “Beloved husband and father, Michael died peacefully in hospital with his wife Anne and son Fergus at his bedside, following a bout of pneumonia. Michael was 82.
