Your favorite movies, artists, songs, and more are competing against each other to find out which ones were the BEST in 2022. And of course, there are plenty of things for Disney fans to keep an eye on! That’s why we’re sharing all the updates from the 2023 Grammys, thanks to a list from Entertainment Weekly — let’s see who the winners were. Of course, you might have heard about the wins in the BIG awards of the night — like Harry Styles winning best album for Harry’s House or Bonnie Raitt’s “Just Like That” winning song of the year. However, we’re sliding a little further down the list for the Disney wins this year. Harry Styles ©Newsweek In 2023, Encanto won Disney the Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media as well as the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. The Best Song for Visual Media came from the hit soundtrack as well, and it’s not a surprise that it was “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” — the song that hung out at the top of the charts for quite a while last year. (“Nobody Like U” from Turning Red was also one of the nominees for that category.) ©Disney Congratulations to Lin-Manuel Miranda and the many other talented people who worked on the soundtrack for that film. It’s definitely getting the love it deserves from the fans and awards alike! Disney didn’t have many other big music releases last year, but we’re hoping that we get some more catchy songs from the films coming in 2023.
