Disney4me
The Mandalorian has taken the Star Wars fandom by storm over the past few years! ©Disney The show currently has two seasons out on Disney+, and has massive amounts of merchandise (and a pretty huge fan base!), especially for a certain little green friend. Disney recently revealed the timeline of Season 3’s release at the annual Star Wars Celebration event, but it’s looking like that won’t be the end of Mando and Baby Yoda’s story! Cinemablend spoke with Jon Favreau, the creator of the show, who revealed that Season 4 is currently in the works! Isn’t he just adorable ©Disney The season is still in the early phases, but according to Favreau, they’re writing it as other Star Wars series come together. And, much like Mando’s story was intertwined with Boba Fett in Disney’s The Book of Boba Fett, it sounds like other shows like Ahsoka will be tying into the newest season. In fact, Favreau said, “So now, as Dave [Filoni]’s doing Ahsoka, it’s very much informing the writing that I’m doing for [The Mandalorian] Season 4. It becomes – how should I put it – more precise.” The Mandalorian ©Disney Favreau also revealed that writing the script for The Mandalorian isn’t as simple as it once was. When asked about potential crossovers in future episodes, Favreau said “determinations are wholly being made organically at this point” and explained everything that goes into writing up a script and making those choices nowadays. He shared: ©Cinemablend And, if you’re hoping to someday watch Mando’s story unfold on the big screen instead of your TV, the Force has heard you. Recently Pedro Pascal (who plays The Mandalorian) was asked what he thought about The Mandalorian being made into a feature film someday. His response? He thinks it’s inevitable. Pedro Pascal talks about the possibility of #TheMandalorian coming to movie theaters: "Don't you think it's inevitable?" https://t.co/usRRsEE1gc pic.twitter.com/TfFj89H7wg — Variety (@Variety) May 28, 2022 Of course, that’s just Pascal’s thoughts on the matter, but we do at least know that the character will be back again for a Season 4! And, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, don’t forget that Season 3 of The Mandalorian is set to arrive to Disney+ in February of 2023.
