(A Pirate’s Life For Me),” to “When You Wish Upon a Star,” to “Under The Sea,” there have certainly been some bops over the years. “it’s a small world” Now, one of Disney’s most memorable songs is being added to the Library of Congress to preserve its posterity. Be honest, how many times have you caught yourself humming the tune to “It’s a Small World” without even realizing it? Now, future generations will be able to get this earworm stuck in their head for years to come because the Library of Congress has picked “It’s a Small World” by The Disneyland Boys Choir as one of this year’s 25 sounds to be preserved for posterity. “it’s a small world” Ever since 2000, the Library of Congress has been selecting 25 recordings as what they call “sounds of history” to preserve so that future generations will be able to listen to them. This classic Disney song is joined by 24 other recordings like “The Christmas Song” by Nat King Cole, “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin, and the Complete Presidential Speeches of Franklin D.
