REVIEW: Don’t Mind Us, We’re Just Making Our Own Dole Whip Creations At Disney World!

Oh, DOLE Whip, beautiful DOLE Whip, how we love thee, let us count the ways… .

We love you so much

Whether you’re classic pineapple or part of a delicious float or watermelon or lemon and lime, or well, ANYTHING that is considered a DOLE Whip, you will always be one of our favorite things to eat at Disney World. But now, we’re having our minds BLOWN because we’re mixing up our very own DOLE Whip creations. Say what?!?!

Typhoon Lagoon reopened today and with that reopening came a SLEW of DOLE Whip snacks, including an old fave, the Hei Hei Cone, as well as the new Montunui Island Twist. But more importantly, guests now have the opportunity to make their own DOLE Whip combinations — and the possibilities are endless!

You have a wide variety of flavors to choose from for your DOLE Whip work of art: mango, lime, raspberry, and pineapple. AND you can even add El Jimador Silver Tequila, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, or Plantation Original Dark Rum to give your creation a little extra kick. So we got a Pineapple and Raspberry DOLE Whip Swirl with Tequila. It’s for science, y’all!

BOOZY DOLE Whip

Okay, so when we tried the Habanero Lime Galley Shack Swirl earlier, we couldn’t really taste the alcohol. However, with THIS DOLE Whip Swirl, we could ABSOLUTELY taste the tequila. And we will warn you — this isn’t the BEST tequila you’re ever going to have. It is pretty strong, maybe even a bit TOO much for some guests.

Can’t go wrong with a swirl

With that being said, though, we do think this snack is a better bang for your buck because you CAN taste the alcohol. We also feel like the swirl is a better way to enjoy DOLE Whip flavors over the Hei Hei Cone and the Montunui Island Twist, which are also both available here. It comes in a cup, so you don’t have as much of a melting problem like you do with the cones.

The raspberry and pineapple are a wonderful combination, although you can mix and match whatever flavors you want!
