Next year will bring the return of many things and the start of several new things in the Disney parks.

We’ve already shared news about several different entertainment options that will be coming back to Disneyland in 2022, how select California Residents can save on tickets in 2022 to the Happiest Place on Earth, and more updates. But, now we’ve got news about another thing that will be returning to the parks and a NEW offering that will be available in 2022!

First, if you’ll be visiting Disneyland next year and are a big fan of the Mickey’s Mix Magic nighttime show, you’re in luck! Mickey’s Mix Magic will be BACK in Disneyland for a limited time starting on January 10th. The show features projections, lasers, fireworks (on select nights), and more.  The show returned to Disneyland in July of this year, but currently the holiday fireworks are being shown. Fans of Mickey’s Mix Magic can look forward to the return of this show next year.

But we think the most exciting announcement Disney has recently made is actually about a NEW limited-time party experience fans can arrange to take place INSIDE Disneyland park. “Celebrate! In Mickey’s Toontown” is a special private party families can schedule to take place at Mickey’s house in Mickey’s Toontown. In one post, Disney mentions that this is an experience where “young families can create special memories.”

Parties can be scheduled between January 19th, 2022 and March 6th, 2022. They are available for groups of up to 10 people. During the Celebrate! In Mickey’s TownTown event, you’ll get the chance to celebrate your special occasion by:

  • Decorating cupcakes
  • Playing games and doing crafts (“designed to delight little ones and grown-ups alike”)
  • And more!

You’ll also get a PhotoPass opportunity with Mickey Mouse and quicker access to Gadget Go Coaster!

The private party lasts 90 minutes. You’ll get complimentary downloads of the Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during your event.

According to Disney, you can leave all of the party planning to them. They’ll “create a magical celebration brimming with fun for all ages—including coloring, crafts and cupcake decorating.”

But, partying at Mickey’s house isn’t free. The cost for the party is $350 per group. Gratuity is not included or required. If you bring 10 people, that breaks down to just $35 per person though — not bad! Payment is due at the time of booking, so just keep that in mind.

Welcome to Toontown!

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • There is a limit of 10 guests in total (that includes infants). At least 1 person has to be 18 years or older and has to accompany all kinds for the duration of the experience
  • Strollers have to be parked outside Mickey’s House
  • The party is wheelchair accessible
  • If you have special dietary needs, be sure to reach out to Disney when you arrive

A private party at Mickey’s House? Yeah, sounds like a pretty cool idea to us! Be sure to reach out to Disneyland for more information about this experience.
