Cinderella Castle

We saw lots of Thanksgiving crowds this week this week and Festival of the Holidays debuted in EPCOT too. And of course, there was also some exciting and VERY surprising news! Take a look.

Showtimes for Indiana Jones

We now have showtimes for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which has been closed since March 2020 when Disney World closed due to the pandemic. We already knew that this show would be returning on December 19th, but this week showtimes appeared on Disney World’s website.

Cast Member Costume Update

EPCOT Festival Team Cast Members received a really unique costume change, with new Costume shirts made up of recyclable materials! These shirts are made in part with plastic bottles that would otherwise pollute the ocean.

They look so great!

So not only are they saving the ocean, these Cast Members are also serving really cute new Costumes! You can catch this Costume change at EPCOT festival booths, like at Festival of the Holidays!

Sales Paused for Annual Passes

This week we learned that sales were paused for most Disney World Annual Passes. This applies to people who want to buy NEW Annual Passes.

Annual Pass

Out of the four Disney World Annual Passes, only one (the Pixie Pass) is available for purchase at this time. If you’re already a current Passholder, you are still eligible to renew your pass into any of the four pass options. We’ll be watching closely for more updates.

America’s Funniest Home Videos

At EPCOT this week we spotted a signs for guests to participate in voting for America’s Funniest VideosWe saw this sign between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions in the World Showcase.

AFV Voting

We HAVE seen this happen before in the past (after all, The Walt Disney Company owns ABC!) but it was a fun surprise to see this week! It’s always a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for random opportunities like this around Disney World.

America’s Funniest Home Videos voting appeared in EPCOT!

New Area Opened in EPCOT

And in EPCOT near the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind building, some of the construction walls have been pushed back to reveal more walkways and areas! There are still some walls around the building, but there’s a lot more space.

It’s open!

It’s nice to see some progress with EPCOT construction, and we’re excited to see more changes as Guardians is currently scheduled to open in 2022!

We’re finally seeing progress near Guardians of the Galaxy!

Unwanted Guests in EPCOT

During our visit to the first day of the 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, we noticed a particularly rude EPCOT guest that kept trying to steal our food. Look, we know it’s tasty, but back off, bee!

Mr. Bee, please get off our snack

The AUDACITY. But yes, Disney bees are back, and they’re ready for the Festival of the Holidays. If you see adults screaming in EPCOT, it’s probably because of a bee.

Check out more photos of the Disney bees here!
