The Empire Strikes Back ©Disney A 40th anniversary is a lot to celebrate, so Disney decided to go big or go home! So it’s bringing Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back BACK to the big screen! Although D23 recently hosted a showing of The Empire Strikes Back at the Rose Bowl as a drive-in movie, that pretty much left out anyone who doesn’t live in the Los Angeles area. And tickets are now on sale on the Fandango website. This is a once-or-twice-in-a-lifetime chance to see the movie as it was intended: on the big screen! Disney+ is the streaming home to Star Wars, including the final film in the Skywalker Saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which landed on the service in May.
