Shanghai Disneyland will begin its phased reopening on May 11, 2020 with limited entertainment and safety precautions. Walt Disney World also announced that Disney Springs will begin reopening limited third party locations on May 20, 2020. ©Disney However, we also reported earlier that Walt Disney World is no longer accepting resort hotel reservations before July 1, 2020. And now, more Disney events and dining are suddenly unavailable for booking through June. On Disney’s website, Magic Kingdom’s Villains After Hours now shows that all dates in June are “No Longer Available.” Screenshot of Disneyworld.com Villains After Hours is a special-ticketed event that takes places on certain nights, and allows a limited number of guests to enjoy villain-themed entertainment and treats, in addition to shorter lines at the most popular attractions in the Magic Kingdom. Villains After Hours But that’s not the only event that seems to have been cancelled next month. Upon investigation, we were no longer able to book Disney World dessert parties, Droid Depot and Savi’s in Galaxy’s Edge, and more special events until July 1st. Savi’s Workshop We also aren’t currently able to book ANY dining reservations (except for Disney Springs restaurants) in Disney World through June. Ribeye Steak from California Grill Disney still lists their theme parks and resorts as closed “until further notice,” and has started cancelling reservations through the end of May.
