The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is finally HERE! We’re bringing you the first day of the Festival live, and now we’re looking at one of our new favorite annual traditions at the Festival: the Cookie Stroll!

Cookie Stroll

We were already planning on strolling around the World Showcase for the International Festival of the Holidays, so adding cookies to the mix has made it a whole lot SWEETER! 😉

Let’s start by breaking down how the Cookie Stroll works! Just like last year, you can find a Cookie Stroll page in your Festival of the Holidays Passport (these are usually free at the park!). This page will list the booth locations of five holiday cookies around the Festival.

If you’re up for a sugary sweet challenge, simply purchase the five cookies and collect a stamp at each food booth where the cookie is found.

Once you’ve completed that, simply stroll your way back to the Holiday Sweets and Treats food booth to get your Completer Cookie (that’s right, the prize is ANOTHER cookie – YUM!). Just for fun, we’ve ranked the cookies from our fave to our least fave, so let’s get to strolling, shall we?

Learn more about the Holiday Cookie Stroll here!

1. Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie

Starting off with our absolute favorite cookie from the cookie stroll this year, this festive Pinwheel Cookie almost looks too good to eat (emphasis on “almost”)! We strolled over to Yukon Holiday Kitchen and snagged this one for $2.50. The main flavor here is peppermint, which makes for a super creative twist (get it?) on a classic pinwheel cookie!

2. Linzer Cookie

A new addition to the 2019 Cookie Stroll is this SUPER beautiful Linzer Cookie! It comes complete with a fabulous raspberry jam center and can be found at Bavaria Holiday Kitchen for $2.50. This one ranks pretty high on our list because of its perfect balance between tart and sweet!

3. Chocolate Crinkle Cookie

This NEW Chocolate Crinkle Cookie has joined the line-up, and SPOILER ALERT — it has a delicious fudge-y center! This cookie is DEFINITELY a winner for the Cookie Stroll.

It’s found at the Feast of Three Kings Booth for $2.50 and it is SO GOOD. The cookie is soft and the fudge center is the perfect way to round out a chocolatey bite. We can’t stop thinking about it!

4. Completer Cookie

Next up is the prize cookie! Once you’ve completed the stroll, you get this Completer Mickey Cookie, which looks a lot like last year’s! This cookie is also served with milk.

The big difference is this Mickey Cookie is topped with a Santa hat, which is really getting us into the ho-ho-holiday spirit! It really is just a plain old sugar cookie; but with the chocolate icing and Santa hat, this is a cute and prize-worthy treat.

This is your reward for finishing the cookie stroll so it’s FREE if you’ve completed the stroll. But if you don’t want to buy all the other cookies, you can also just purchase this ONE cookie at Holiday Sweets & Treats for $3.00. It’s not like you HAVE to eat five other cookies to get it…but it’s OK if you want to forget we said that.

5. Gingerbread Cookie

The deliciously adorable Gingerbread Cookies have joined the stroll for $2.50 at American Holiday Table. We dare you not to smile just looking at this festive treat! It is just a classic gingerbread cookie which is why it’s a little lower on this list, but definitely tasty if that’s your jam!

6. Black and White Cookie

And last up on our list: The ol’ classic Black and White Cookie is BACK this year, located at returning favorite L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen. You can grab this guy for $2.5o and it’s actually a plant-based version of the NYC favorite.

Black and White Cookie

Tbh, we didn’t love it. But that’s mostly because several reviewers have lived in New York City and have a soft spot for the real black-and-whites. And while this is good, it’s definitely not authentic. The cookie is VERY soft, and while most black-and-whites are a bit softer than a traditional cookie, this was going overboard.
