As you prepare for this weekend full of galactic fun, we’re excited to share with you the individual race themes, each featuring a light side and dark side rivalry:

  • Star Wars Rival Run 5K | Finn and Captain Phasma
  • Star Wars Rival Run 10K | Han Solo and Boba Fett
  • Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon | Rey and Kylo Ren
  • Star Wars Rival Run Challenge | Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader
  • runDisney Kids Races | BB-8 and BB-9E

Taking your Star Wars race journey to the next level? Those mastering the runDisney Kessel Run Challenge can fulfill their running destiny when they finish both the Star Wars Rival Run Half Marathon at Walt Disney World Resort and the Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon. This year’s Virtual Half Marathon theme will be featuring one of our favorite droids, R2-D2!

“Do what must be done” and choose which side of the Force you will run for! Regardless of which side you choose, you won’t want to miss your chance to be a part of this immersive event where you’ll encounter some of your favorite Star Wars characters along the course as you journey to the finish line to earn one-of-a-kind medals. Spots remain for both the 2019 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend events as well as the 2019 Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon.
