Those who prefer adventure on land can enjoy the sunshine with golf, horseback riding, nature hikes, bike rides and more. For a, adrenaline rush, embark on a 4-wheeling excursion through the jungle, take in extraordinary views from a zipline or explore a secluded beach high atop a camel. Local culture. Mazatlán’s daily downtown market, Centro Mercado, is brimming with handmade clothing and goods, and the artesian markets in Cabo offer an array of local handicrafts and souvenirs, such as silver, ceramics and wood carvings. In Puerto Vallarta, soak up the culture with Mariachi bands, woven Huichol Indian art and traditionally dressed cowboys when the locals celebrate a special occasion. A playground at sea.
