BOO!! Halloween is one of the most FUN-derful times of the year at Disneyland, and our Disneyland Correspondent Heather Sievers has gathered pictures of some of the spooky happenings! We’ve also got the scoop on where you can find all of the season’s special treats around the Resort. So if you’re ready to scare up some fun with a few of our best Disney pals…

Skeleton Goofy!

… or perhaps your favorite Villain, then please join us!

Creepy Confections

There’s no shortage of ghoulish goodies in the Disneyland Resort Candy Kitchens!

Classic Disney confections have received their annual Halloween makeover at spots like Candy Palace, Trolley Treats, and Marceline’s Confectionery. Check out the Jack Cake Pops (his head) and Marshmallow Wands (his body) that combine to make a complete Skellington! (Well played, Disneyland. Well played.)

The treats are sold separately, so you’ll have to pair up with a buddy… or just eat both ;) .

Now, these are AMAZING!! The popular Poison Apples come in a Cake Pop version this year. You have to get one just to get one, right?!?

And you’ll still find them in their better known Caramel Apple version as well, along with an awesome new Evil Queen Apple! I must have her!!

BOO-tiful Beignets

Heather LOVED the Butterscotch Mickey-shaped Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar, and we’re looking forward to bringing you a full review soon!

OH, and the Poison Apple Mug is back as well! (You can find yours at Disney World, too, at Storybook Treats during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!)

They are also on the menu at Cafe Orleans and the French Market Restaurant.

Spooky Souvenirs

Even though Halloween in Disneyland is full of fun and whimsy, there is one TRULY SCARY sight… and that’s the line at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar to get the Hitchhiking Ghost Tiki Mug!

This is Heather’s view after about an hour in line, finally approaching the front.

Worth it? Uhh… HECK, YEAH!!!

The Tiki Mug is filled with This Chilling Challenge — a specialty drink — for $30; and there is a limit of two mugs per person. Word has it the mugs are already sold out, BUT Heather was informed they will return (though the date is uncertain).

Specialty Souvenir Popcorn Buckets this year include the return of the Zero Popcorn Bucket, and a traditional bucket featuring Pumpkin Pluto, Gnome Mickey, and Fortune Teller Minnie. Even the regular boxes have received their seasonal paper container :) .

Haunted Mansion

Here’s a peek at this year’s Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House, tucked into the ballroom scene in the Haunted Mansion. (That’s 200 POUNDS of gingerbread right there!)

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas while you’re in there…

But if you happen to miss her in the Mansion, you may catch her and Jack Skellington himself right nearby at their Meet and Greet spot in New Orleans Square!

But you may rather try something that will help you ward off unwanted fiends… like an Anti-Vampire Chicken Pizza, perhaps?

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta is crafting it with roasted garlic sauce — natch! — marinated chicken, smoked gouda, mozzarella, and roasted red peppers and finishing it off with a tomato-harissa sauce drizzle.

And for dessert? Enjoy a Pumpkin Cheesecake!

That same brew is served at Pacific Wharf Cafe along with Pumpkin Raisin Bread Pudding and Bacon Cheddar Ale Soup (which we’re guessing is pretty similar to this awesome stuff served at the DCA Food and Wine Festival this year!).

It’s a slice topped with pastrami and mustard oil, mozzarella, and battered pickle chips. And a Spider Parfait is the dessert du jour.

Looking for a ghoul — I mean, COOL — treat? Vanilla and Orange Soft-Serve Ice Cream has hit the scene at Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co., and Schmoozies is the stop for a Caramel Apple Smoothie.

Terrifying (for the sake of alliteration ;) ) Table Service

Is dining at a Table Service restaurant part of your Disneyland Halloween plan? Then keep an eye out for seasonal arrivals on the menu, like the Loaded Bites (seasoned potatoes topped with beef brisket, pimento cheese, and a spicy BBQ sauce) at River Belle Terrace.
