We’ve long enjoyed the Alfresco Tasting Terrace at Disney California Adventure for a place to enjoy small plates and California wines. You’ll find the secluded spot on the second floor of the Park’s Wine Country Trattoria.

But now, we have even more reason to visit, as the rustic venue has introduced a revamped menu to complement their brand new line up of wines.

Alfresco has introduced the “Disney Family of Wines”, a collection of California wines all bearing some connection with the Disney brand. While some of the wines are featured at other Disney restaurants, Alfresco is the only spot where you can sample selections from all eight of the wineries featured in the collection. They include:

  • Fess Parker Winery
  • MacMurray Ranch
  • Silverado Vineyards
  • Lasseter Family Winery
  • Gogi (owned by actor Kurt Russell)
  • Frank Family Vineyards
  • Chappellet Winery
  • Skywalker Vineyards

Wines are available by the glass, or you can purchase a full bottle. If you’d like some variety, flights are available as well.

The menu continues to feature small plates with a Mediterranean influence.

The popular Fritto Misto Plate, which includes lightly battered Calamari, Mussels, Green Beans, and Artichokes with a Pepperoncini Aïoli, continues to be available. It’s joined by a lineup of new dishes including:

  • Aged Cheddar-Risotto Bites with Roasted Garlic-Herb Aïoli and Marinara
  • Classic Bruschetta
  • Charcuterie and Cheese, Featuring Gorgonzola and Fontina Cheese, Prosciutto Di Parma, Chorizo, Olives, Marinated Mushrooms, and Walnuts
  • Grilled Shrimp with Chorizo
  • Beef Tenderloin Sliders with Horseradish and Caramelized Onion Aïoli
  • Roasted Duck Rillettes with Crostini, Orange Marmalade and Castelvetrano Olives

Sounds good, eh?

It’s a great spot to unwind in the evening as you take in the Park scenery around you with some delicious lighter fare! And since you don’t need an advance dining reservation, it’s a good option for last minute noshing.
