Disney4me Posted October 8, 2023 Report Posted October 8, 2023 Let’s face it — long holiday weekends often bring crowds to Disney World. Things are getting busy in Magic Kingdom It’s not just us, either. It seems like Disney World has been expecting crowds this weekend. We saw the price of Genie+ go up to its highest price that we’ve seen in over a month, and that price went up even higher as of October 8th. That means demand for the service is up, meaning that there are crowds in the parks. Well, that’s exactly what we saw in Magic Kingdom. When we parked at the Transportation and Ticket Center this morning (which is where you park when you’re headed to Magic Kingdom), we noticed that there were a LOT of people there. Let’s just say the line for the Monorail to Magic Kingdom was LONG. Transportation and Ticket Center We also had to wait in a long line to get INTO the park — note that this was AFTER the rope drop crowds had entered. Magic Kingdom entrance Main Street, U.S.A., was also very full of people — LOADS of people. Main Street, U.S.A. Adventureland also felt pretty packed. Adventureland The line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was at 65 minutes and stretched WAY out into Adventureland. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad line Fantasyland also felt VERY crowded. Fantasyland It was also crowded around Cinderella Castle. Good luck getting that photo op! Around the castle Liberty Square also felt very full. Today, the price was $29 for both the Magic Kingdom and Multi-Park option. EPCOT is $18, Hollywood Studios is $22, and Animal Kingdom is $16. ©Disney Needless to say, we expect to continue to see these crowds through tomorrow as part of the holiday weekend.
