Disney4me Posted September 9, 2023 Report Posted September 9, 2023 Many Disney fans would say that getting to Magic Kingdom is one of the hardest transportation challenges. Boarding the Monorail at the Transportation & Ticket Center Why is that, you ask? Well, you can’t park, take a bus, ferryboat, monorail, or a rideshare straight to Magic Kingdom, you have to pass through the TTC (Transportation & Ticket Center). Needless to say, we go to the TTC a lot, and we noticed a small change today that we LOVE. Magic Kingdom is the only Disney World park that doesn’t allow you to park right in front of the park entrance because Walt Disney wanted to keep Magic Kingdom as an oasis away from the rest of the world. He didn’t want guests looking out from the park to see a sea of cars and the highway beyond. Bad show! Magic Kingdom entrance While we were walking through the TTC recently, we noticed that there’s a new drop-off loop for rideshare drop-offs and guests taking buses from select hotels like the Four Seasons and Shades of Green, which makes things much safer for everyone involved. New Drop-Off Loop The new loop allows rideshare vehicles to drop off their guests and make a complete loop without impeding on the path of guests getting off the buses. It also means that those getting out of rideshares can safely cross to security at the TTC as well! Crossing safely! While this may not seem like a big change, safety is always important, especially in Disney. Looking for more of the latest Disney news? Look no further! More Disney News Here!
