Disney4me Posted May 14, 2023 Report Posted May 14, 2023 Nearly three years after the Disney World closure in 2020, things are still not totally back to normal. But now, we can finally say that you can have breakfast with Disney Princesses again in EPCOT! We’re ready to meet some princesses! That’s right, we were able to visit Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion on the first day the character dining resumed breakfast service. Come with us for a first look at our experience! We’re getting breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall this morning! pic.twitter.com/PgeaNmmgqu — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) May 14, 2023 Our table was set with stoneware and weighty flatware — as you would expect at any royal banquet! Breakfast is back at Akershus! Breakfast here is served family-style, rather than as a buffet. Our server told us she would “be our buffet” for the meal. The first course was a platter of pastries, meats and cheeses. Pastries — yum! Breakfast is $53 per adult and $34 per child here. Breakfast at Akershus costs $53 per adult (age 10+) and $34 per child (age 3-9) plus gratuity. To start the meal we got these breakfast pastries and accompaniments! pic.twitter.com/ePTZfOg7eV — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) May 14, 2023 The main course included Norwegian waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, and a potato casserole with cheese. We spotted Aurora first … The princesses have arrived! Hi, Aurora! pic.twitter.com/VQbRvn9BRs — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) May 14, 2023 And then — oh my goodness! — Tiana!! We spotted Tiana at Akershus too! We’re wishing she brought us some beignets, but the Norwegian waffles will do just fine! pic.twitter.com/FsA9GyAuBE — Disney Food Blog (@DisneyFoodBlog) May 14, 2023 Up next, we got a bowl of fresh fruit. Hi, Ariel! The fifth princess who came to visit was the lovely Belle. Belle! We were given a great souvenir — an autograph card signed by all five of the princesses we were able to see today!
