Welcome back to Disney World, friends! Are you ready to tour another hotel room? Port Orleans – Riverside Seeing inside different hotel rooms can help you decide where is best for you and your family to stay. Is the room big enough for your family? Do you feel it’s worth the price tag you’re paying? Without further ado, come with us to check out a standard room at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort! Port Orleans Riverside is themed to the Louisana Bayou, and more specifically has hints of The Princess and The Frog in its decor. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside The rooms all face outward, like motel doors, so if that’s a big decision factor for you, it’s important you know that now! Outside the room Heading inside the room, you’ll first notice a window to the right of the entrance door with the heating/AC unit underneath. The window If you look closely, you’ll notice Princess and The Frog detail on the window’s curtain! The detailing To the right of the window, you’ll find a table with two chairs. The table On the table, you’ll find some more information about the resort and parks during your stay. On the table And above the table, you’ll find a mirror. Mirror From the table, this is your view into the rest of the room. View from the table There are two queen beds in this room that you can lounge away in. Beds We even spotted a towel Mickey surprise on one of the beds! A surprise! The bedding is all white… Bed Linen …including four fluffy white pillows on both beds. (By the way, did you know you can buy the pillows Disney uses on Amazon? Check them out here!) Pillows There are also light fixtures above each of the beds, and artwork on the headboards. Facing the bed A closer look at the artwork on the headboards. Stunning! In between the beds, you’ll also find a nightstand. Nightstand On top of the nightstand, you’ll find the resort phone, another informational brochure… Top of the nightstand …and an outlet with USB ports to charge all of your devices. The outlet Inside the nightstand drawer, we found a Bible. Inside the nightstand Don’t forget that there’s lots of space underneath the beds to store your luggage. Under the bed Facing back toward the rest of the room, you’ll find the TV above the dresser. Facing toward the rest of the room On the left side of the dresser, you’ll find the mini-fridge. The fridge Lots of space to store your food! Inside the fridge On top of the dresser, you’ll find a TV remote… TV remote …another outlet with USB ports… Outlet …a coffee maker… Coffee maker …and the ice chest and cups. Icebox and cups To the right of the dresser, you’ll also find a space to hang your jackets or lanyards. Space to hang your items Below this, is a green bench. Green bench And to the right of the bench, you’ll find the entrance to the bathroom. The entrance to the bathroom But first, you can control the temperature with the thermostat to the left of the entrance. Thermostat Inside the bathroom, you’ll find the dual sinks straight ahead. Inside the bathroom A closer look at the sinks… Sinks In the middle of the sinks, you’ll find soap and body lotion. Hotel amenities Above it, you’ll find a box of tissues on a shelf — that shelf is handy for holding makeup and other toiletries. Tissues You’ll also find extra towels on the right side of the counter. Towels And a magnifying mirror on the right side of the counter. The mirror There are towels hanging on the front side of the sinks… Towels on the counter …and underneath the counter, you’ll find extra toilet paper... Toilet Paper …a hairdryer… Hairdryer …and more towels. More towels To the left of the sink, you’ll find a space to hang up all of your clothes, an extra pillow and blanket, and an iron. Left of the sinks Here you’ll also find a safe to store any of your most important belongings. The safe All the way to the right of the sinks, you’ll find the rest of the bathroom — the toilet and the shower/tub. The rest of the bathroom The shower curtain is a beautiful flower design with fireflies… The shower curtain …and behind it, you’ll find the shower, which can also be a tub if need be. Inside the shower Inside the shower, you’ll also find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
