Disney4me Posted March 19, 2023 Report Posted March 19, 2023 There’s a NEW restaurant in Disney World, and we’re taking you INSIDE for a first look. The Swan and Dolphin, or “Swolphin” if you will Rosa Mexicano is the newest table service restaurant at Disney World. It’s located at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and it opened on March 19, 2023. This is actually a chain restaurant, and the new spot is the first location in the Orlando area (there are other locations in New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and a few other states). Come with us to see what it’s like! Rosa Mexicano now occupies the space that was once home to Fresh Mediterranean Market in the Dolphin hotel. It boasts “an elevated fiesta dining experience,” with contemporary Mexican cuisine and a menu of over 100 varieties of tequila and agave-based spirits. Rosa Mexicano Entrance The restaurant is 5,500 square feet and has space for about 300 guests, including a 30-person bar and a private dining room for 50. If you’re not staying at the Dolphin hotel, you can still visit this restaurant. Access is available by boat or walkway from EPCOT’s International Gateway and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or just hop on a bus to the Swan and Dolphin hotels from whichever Disney World park you’re visiting. We stopped by to check out this new eatery! Atmosphere We loved the sleek, elegant look of this dining area, but it didn’t make you feel out of place if you aren’t dressed up. The colors all go together very nicely as well! The dining room We really loved the open feel of this restaurant as well — you don’t feel too closed in or close to the other diners. Looking towards the bar There are regular tables and high top bar seating. One thing we want to note is that there is no bathroom inside the restaurant. Instead, you’ll have to walk down a hallway outside of the restaurant — it’s not far, but you will have to leave the restaurant! Food We also really enjoyed the menu! The Menu The drink menu had so many options to choose from… Inside the menu …and so did the food menu! But we narrowed down our choices — it’s time to eat! The food menu Even in the age of QR code menus, Rosa Mexicano had regular menus to peruse. FULL Menus Revealed for NEW Disney World Restaurant For our appetizer, we grabbed classic Chips and Queso! Chips and Queso We’ll tell you one thing — even before we tasted it, it certainly looked delicious! YUM And we ended up loving the taste of it as well! We’re currently sitting in the restaurant RIGHT NOW, so be sure to check back with us for more of our choices later! Remember that Rosa Mexicano is a table service restaurant, and it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner starting March 20th. There are currently only reservations for dinner available on OpenTable — learn more about that here! We’ll have a FULL review ready for you soon, so stay tuned to DFB.
