There are tons of Halloween offerings in Disney World right now — you’ve got Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a Halloween scavenger hunt, and lots of snacks to try all around the parks and hotels. If you thought Disney was out of new treats now that we’ve only got a few more weeks until Halloween, surprise! We just tried a Spooktacular Grape Halloween Churro in Disney Springs and it was NOT what we were expecting. The Spooktacular Churro at Sunshine Churros in Disney Springs is a Disney churro rolled in grape sugar and drizzled with orange cream cheese frosting and topped with Halloween sprinkles. We were a little nervous about the grape flavor, but we actually really enjoyed this treat overall! Spooktacular Churro Our warning to you is that the grape flavor is really lacking here — sometimes grape-flavored things are way too overpowering, but we found ourselves searching for grape! The grape sugar didn’t taste much like grape, but more like the normal sugar you get on a churro. However, the cream cheese frosting was delicious with the warm churro. If you’re a churro fan who loves Halloween, this is a fun offering you’ll likely really enjoy! Yum! However, if you really are looking for a grape flavor here you’ll likely be disappointed, as it’s very underwhelming. Halloween fans who enjoy normal churros will love this offering though, so you can grab it for $7.95 until October 31st. This is a bit pricey for not delivering the grape flavor and some cute Halloween sprinkles, so you might want to opt for one of the classic churro flavors for $5.25. We loved it! Although we haven’t tried a grape-flavored churro before, we HAVE tried a ghost pepper grape sauce for churros over at Disneyland. Let’s just say it was…interesting! We actually enjoyed it and it did have a stronger flavor than this grape churro in Disney World. Maybe we need this spooky churro with a side of grape dip!
