Disney World has been closed since yesterday, and will remain closed today, Thursday, September 29th. We’ve been giving you updates on what’s going on near the resort, including flooding and what’s been happening in the hotels. And now, Disney has made a statement on the storm.

Disney has now made a statement on Hurricane Ian. It reads in part “We are thinking of our neighbors across Florida. We will get through this together and will be there to help our cast members and community.” You can read the rest of the statement below.

Hurricane Ian hit Florida yesterday on the west coast and then moved across the state through Central Florida. It has now been downgraded to a tropical storm, but a flash flood warning is in effect for many Central Florida counties.
