Train Station The train used to travel in a circle around Magic Kingdom, but was temporarily put out of commission when Disney started building TRON. We still have no update from Disney on when the train might be back, but we’re seeing some encouraging signs in the park! The train was testing today in Magic Kingdom! Take a listen in the video below (and wait for a fun surprise from some friends!). LISTEN CLOSELY! Could this mean the train could be coming back soon? We’ll have to wait and see. Fresh tracks near Fantasyland Station — June 2022 We have seen more progress on the tunnel for the train over underneath TRON… Train Tunnel in Progress — August 2022 …and a look at the work happening on the tracks. But, we’ll still have to wait for Disney’s official announcement. We DO know that TRON should be opening in Spring of 2023, so we would think the train should be back by then, too! Train tracks construction But, keep in mind that we have heard and seen the train testing several times this year, and nothing has come of it yet.
