Airfare has been EXPENSIVE lately, hasn’t it?

Airfare has been expensive lately!

This summer saw insanely high plane ticket prices, as demand for travel reached the highest point that had been seen for several years. This resulted in flight cancellations, delays, and more. Now, as we head into the fall, demand is starting to decrease and so are prices — but it’s always nice to save a little money, right? That’s where Frontier Airlines comes in.

Let’s start with some discounts. Right now, you can take a look at the other discounted flights on the Frontier website on the “Deals” page. There, you’ll find some flights as low as $20! For example, you can get a flight from Philadelphia to Orlando for as little as $21 one way. $20 to fly to Disney World? We’re so in.

Additionally, from now until September 5th, you can also take part in the Friends Fly Free sale with Frontier Airlines.

This promotion is available to all Frontier Airlines Discount Den members (you can sign up to be a member on the Frontier website). If you purchase one Discount Den fare, you’ll get one free as long as you use promo code FLYFREE at checkout, with some fares as low as $18. As with all promos, there are a few caveats. This BOGO is only available on nonstop trips to or from Las Vegas, Nevada, or Denver, Colorado, and will only be valid on select dates at select times.

If this promo sounds like one you want to take advantage of, you must purchase your flight by September 5th for travel before November 2nd. This promo can be booked online at the Frontier Airlines website.

As we head into the fall months, we’re seeing a drop in airfare prices as demand lessens. The busy summer season may be over, but experts warn that high prices and lots of delays are expected again this holiday season.

Holiday Crowds in Disney World

If you’re going to be flying soon, there are a few ways you can be prepared for anything your travel day could throw at you. For example, airlines are mishandling bags at a higher rate now than just a few years ago, but we have resources about things you can do to be prepared. You can also check out the most and least reliable airlines in the United States to help you make your decision about which airline you choose the next time you fly.
