Disney4me Posted September 14, 2021 Report Posted September 14, 2021 We’ve seen many Disney park closures over the years. We definitely missed Disneyland when it was closed! All the parks around the world had massive closures last year (and into this year) due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but they’ve also closed in the past for various weather conditions. Shanghai Disney Resort was closed this week for that very reason, but it’ll soon be back up and running! Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown, and Wishing Star Park all closed temporarily earlier this week due to the effects of Typhoon Chanthu. Now that the storm has passed, Shanghai Disney Resort has announced plans to reopen on Wednesday, September 15th. ©Disney On Wednesday, Shanghai Disneyland will be open from 10:00-20:30 and Disneytown will be open from 10:00-21:00. At this time, Wishing Star Park will remain closed. Guests are encouraged to visit the Resort’s app for the most up-to-date opening information. ©WaltDisneyImagineering on Instagram — Shanghai Disneyland reopening Stay tuned to DFB for all the Disney news from the parks, online, and around the world!
