But they’re not the only ones who get to move into some special new digs in their stories. One Disney executive recently moved into a multi-million dollar new home and we’re checking out the house. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney CEO Bob Chapek recently purchased a $12.5 million contemporary estate in Westlake Village, California. The home is nearly 10,000 square feet and sits on six acres of property. ©Weichert Chapek has been living in the same gated community since 2019 with neighbors such as professional athletes, actors, and internet celebrities. The community is located about an hour northwest of Downtown L.A. by car and features 24/7 guard services. ©Weichert This purchase is the area’s biggest real estate deal since 2019 when the owner of NuVet bought a $35 million property. ©Weichert Let’s take a little tour of Chapek’s new digs. ©Weichert The entrance of the home is situated between two water features with a large double door. ©Weichert The front door enters into a living space with quarter walls and a feature light fixture. ©Weichert Look to the other side of the room, and you’ll see the living space opens up to the outdoor patio with views of the surrounding mountains. ©Weichert Another living space is rooted in more wood tones. ©Weichert A windowed alcove features a booth and a large breakfast table. ©Weichert Speaking of breakfast, the kitchen is spacious with a massive island. ©Weichert And there’s a formal dining room nearby that can seat 16 at the table. ©Weichert A full bar looks out on the property… ©Weichert …and a home gym has space for all of the equipment one might need. ©Weichert Down the hall, there is a beautiful office with more wood features. ©Weichert The master bedroom has plenty of windows, a lighting feature, and a fireplace. ©Weichert The master bath might be the most stunning part of this home. ©Weichert The Chapeks’ won’t have to want for closet space. ©Weichert The back patio features a pool with fountain features and a firepit. ©Weichert In fact, fountain features are sort of a theme out here. ©Weichert Plus there is plenty of patio seating and an outdoor bar. ©Weichert One seating area features another TV and fireplace outside. ©Weichert The pool, and the rest of the home, have uninterrupted views of the mountains and hills. ©Weichert A breezeway connects the house to a guest house. ©Weichert The guest house has plenty of space to accommodate visitors. ©Weichert And they get some nice views as well. ©Weichert Wow!
