Over a year after the park closures began, we’ll finally be able to once again ride our favorite rides, wave to our favorite characters, and eat our favorite dishes! Disneyland’s reopening announcement! © Disney In addition to all of the Dole Whip and Corn Dogs we’re going to eat when the parks reopen, we’re also looking forward to revisiting some of our favorite restaurants! But which restaurants will be a part of the initial reopening, exactly? In California’s modified theme park reopening guidance, it states that indoor dining will not be allowed while the county is still in the Red reopening tier. Once a county reaches the Orange tier, indoor capacity must be capped at 25% with time restrictions in place. Modified guidance for theme parks according to California’s color-coded tier system. Source: covid19.ca.gov That means that for now, all of the available dining options must offer outdoor seating — and that narrows the list down a bit! Carthay Circle As of this writing, Disney has only specifically mentioned a small handful of restaurants in each park that will reopen. In fact, as of this writing there are only two restaurants reportedly announced to reopen. Disney hasn’t expanded on this list to include any specific counter service dining locations will be open, although we can expect those to be announced in the coming weeks. Let’s take a look at the current list of restaurants that will be a part of Disneyland’s historic reopening! We will keep checking for more announcements in regards to Disneyland dining in the coming weeks, and we will add restaurants to this list as we learn more.
