Disney4me Posted March 17, 2021 Report Posted March 17, 2021 WOW! What an exciting morning for Disneyland fans — a reopening date for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure has been announced! Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle There will be several health and safety guidelines in place when both parks open, which is scheduled to take place on April 30th. Included in those guidelines is verbiage on what Disney considers to be “experiences that draw large group gatherings,” such as parades and fireworks. According to Disney, those experiences “will return at a later date.” Disneyland Forever fireworks © Disney This guidance is in step with what we saw during Disney World’s phased reopening: no fireworks or other experiences that would draw a large crowd together were suspended when the Florida parks reopened last summer. Remember the crowds on Main Street, U.S.A. the first day of Rise of the Resistance? We definitely WON’T be seeing crowds like this right away! This is a story that will continue to develop in the coming weeks and months! As always, keep an eye on DFB for the latest coverage and for up-to-date information on Disneyland’s grand reopening!
