Disney4me Posted March 1, 2021 Report Posted March 1, 2021 Welcome back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Tree of Life We stopped by to check out what’s new so you can stay in the loop! Let’s get started. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates Riverside Depot At Riverside Depot, we spotted a new Beauty and the Beast handheld mirror! It features some rose detailing and script that reads “Beauty is found within.” It’s $29.99! Enchanted Mirror, is that you? And in OTHER Beauty and the Beast news, a character mug got a major glow-up! The new Chip mug has more facial dimension — he even has rosy cheeks! — and a reshaped handle and base. Old and New Versions of the Chip Mug We’re loving this new version of the mug. And get this: it’s the same price as the original mug at $22.99! This upgrade seems well worth it. Discovery Trading Company At Discovery Trading Company, we found two of Disney’s new hats! We’d previously seen these accessories at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but it looks like they’ve made their way to Animal Kingdom. There’s a pink Ariel hat… Look at those sunset colors! …and an orange Stitch hat! Our favorite alien definitely is weird but cute! Both of these hats are $27.99. Here’s How to Save BIG on Disney Gear in March! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Additional Updates We have a few new updates from Kilimanjaro Safaris! In the loading area, we’ve got new floor markers to simplify the loading process. Kilimanjaro Safaris Floor Markers Now, guests boarding the trucks don’t have to count (or guess) what row number they are! Hopefully this new process will make loading WAY more organized (and a lot less like a stampede!). Kilimanjaro Safaris Floor Markers And while we were ON the ride, we kept an eye out for a baby rhino who has officially made his Kilimanjaro Safaris debut! Ranger, a four month old white rhino calf, joined his mama Kendi last week on the safari. White Rhino Baby Ranger and His Mom Kendi Make sure you look for this pair next time you’re on this attraction! Read More About Kilimanjaro Safaris’ Newest Baby! That’s all for our trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney news and keep you updated. Stay tuned to DFB! Check Out Pluto’s Visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
