Disney4me Posted February 26, 2021 Report Posted February 26, 2021 Even at the most magical place on earth, things occasionally happen. Welcome to Main Street, U.S.A. Ride animatronics often fail, rides have to be evacuated, and Dole Whips get abandoned and left out to melt in the hot Florida sun (yeah, we’re still not over that!). Every day at Disney World can’t be perfect! But Disney World does its best to get things back to perfect when something goes wrong. Yesterday, we noticed a broken window on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. Broken Window The broken window is one of a series of windows above Main Street Bakery dedicated to Walt Disney’s nephew, Roy E. Disney, and his family. The family loved to sail, which is why the windows have a nautical theme. The center window has Roy’s name, with the windows below named after his wife, Patty, and their children, Roy, Patrick, Abigail, Susan, and Timothy. Roy E. Disney and Family Windows The window above Susan and Timothy’s name was the one broken. But today, we noticed that the window has been repaired. Fixed! Now everything looks great again! Windows above Main Street Bakery We still have no information on what caused the window to break, but if we find out, we’ll let you know. PHOTOS: The Main Street, U.S.A.
