Polynesian Lobby And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Merchandise Update Boutiki Your baking or cooking is about to get a whole lot more magical with one of the cutest spatulas we’ve seen at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! Over at Boutiki, you can find the Cinderella Castle Spatula to use while you’re making some Mickey Waffles or flipping a few pancakes! Cinderella Castle Spatula The top of the rubber spatula is shaped like the Cinderella Castle which seems a bit hard to use considering the many points and edges… Cinderella Castle Spatula …and it can be yours for $14.99! Disney, we’re going to need all of these kitchen items ASAP! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update Monorail Many parts of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will remain closed as the huge overhaul refurbishment takes place at the hotel. The Monorail closed back in November as Disney works to add changes to guests’ experiences visiting Disney World. Monorail Construction Construction continues at the Monorail station with extra beams, poles, and plywood as a green tarp surrounds the area. And, we are so hyped to see the finished and updated product when it’s done! Monorail Construction But, that isn’t the only construction happening at Disney World… . Room Renovation The rooms all around the resort are finally getting their Moana makeover! (Eeep!) When the rooms are complete, they will include ““a move to a Pacific Ocean-inspired color palette as well as details, patterns and textures from Disney’s Moana.” Room Renovation We aren’t entirely sure what will be included in each of the rooms around the Polynesian, but we hope to see some swirling patterns, themed textures, and a tropical color palette. Room Renovation Cast Members inside the resort have already gotten a Moana inspired makeover with new aprons, but we spotted fences and scaffolding surround the guest rooms as construction moves forward. Room Renovation The resort is currently scheduled to reopen in the summer with the new, gorgeous rooms and the other enhancements that will be appearing all around the area.
