Disney4me Posted January 19, 2021 Report Posted January 19, 2021 Spring at Disney often means one thing for runners — runDisney events! ©runDisney Recently, runDisney just shared a sneak peek at the medal for the upcoming Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and they didn’t stop there! Today we got a first look at the Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon medal! Like other runDisney race weekends in 2020 and 2021, the race weekend was converted into a virtual event for runners to participate anywhere and earn their medals. Though, there’s a notable difference for this Star Wars Rival Run Weekend — Disney announced that the event will be reimagined in 2022. ©Disney The Star Wars Virtual Half medal was revealed by runDisney today and it just might be the motivator you need to keep up those training runs! The medal features a spinning Death Star, flipping between the interior specs and the exterior. It’s a pretty awesome medal and just might make you run for the dark side! The Emperor would be pleased with your efforts to reach the finish line during the 2021 #StarWarsVirtualHalf.
