Disney4me Posted December 7, 2020 Report Posted December 7, 2020 Nighttime spectaculars are still more or less on pause in Disney World right now, with a few minor exceptions like projections and light pyro on Cinderella Castle, Tower of Terror, and the Tree of Life. ©Disney Fireworks are a BIG piece of a classic Disney vacation, so we’re waiting patiently for them to return. Luckily, Disney has continued work on EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime show, Harmonious, and now we’ve got an UPDATE from above! Thanks to @bioreconstruct on Twitter, we’ve got a new glimpse of the behind-the-scenes construction on Harmonious. The pilot last flew over the area about a month ago and things look a little bit different since then. The major barges, including the centerpiece ring barge, are still docked in the same place as workers prepare the technology. Aerial look at the show barges of HarmonioUS. The ring, for the water screen at center of the show, is actually 3 separate barges. Video screens line the 4 semicircular barges. These latest pictures make a circular pattern of buoys clear. It’s possible that these are in use to mark the position of platforms and barges in the finalized show set-up. Each one looks about twice as long as the path around the World Showcase is wide. We got a peek at the ring barge in person and it was MASSIVE.
