Disney4me Posted November 29, 2020 Report Posted November 29, 2020 The holidays look a little different this year at Disney World (we miss you, castle dream lights). Holiday decorations at Magic Kingdom Disney has made lots of adjustments to make sure that the holidays still feel as magical as ever! It’s introduced new festive projections on Cinderella Castle and even surprised us with some fireworks that complement the projections. Although we think the new projections are beautiful, we sure are missing the icy-blue lights that normally illuminate Cinderella Castle. We asked YOU how you think the new projections measure up to the castle dream lights from previous years, and here’s what you had to say. Cinderella Castle We posted a poll over on our Instagram, to get a grasp of our followers’ opinions of this year’s new holiday decorations! The votes are in, and we’re a little surprised. The Castle Dream Lights that typically grace the castle during this time of year received 7,409 votes, securing 63% of the vote. Cinderella Castle Dream Lights On the other hand, the new Holiday Projections received 4,366 votes, representing 37% of the vote! We were a little bit surprised by the number of votes the projections received, but we think the new addition of fireworks has helped to spice up the show! Projections with fireworks! We’re huge fans of these new castle projections, and are super happy with the addition of fireworks!
