Disney4me Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 Something’s going down at Cinderella Castle! Cinderella Castle Stage Just yesterday, we spotted construction on a temporary STAGE in front of Cinderella Castle! Now, crews are out filming on the new stages all-day today, and it just might be for the modified ABC holiday special. Today, the stage had a lot of added components like two bridges and purple fabric around the bases. That’s certainly a Christmas-y color! Still, we’re not sure whether the filming is for a holiday special as it could just as easily be for promotional or marketing purposes. Cinderella Castle Stage Interestingly enough, the stages also have SLIDES. Uh…that’s pretty cool. Cinderella Castle Stage Both ends of the ramp they’re filming on currently are roped off and we caught a glimpse of costumes and supplies set up off to the side. Cinderella Castle Filming We could even see them getting a start on filming when we got there this morning! Cinderella Castle Filming Looks like bubbles are going to be a feature! Cinderella Castle Filming Despite the filming, you can still enter Fantasyland through the Castle right now. Cinderella Castle Filming So exciting! We’ll be keeping an eye out for any updates about this filming and its purpose, so stay tuned to DFB so you’re in the loop! Click here to see more pics of the stage!
