Disney4me Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 It’s officially CHRISTMASTIME in the Magic Kingdom!! And, we’re already craving a big cup of hot chocolate and a stroll through some snoap soon. Magic Kingdom Holidays 2020! Recently, Disney released a TON of holiday merchandise and we started to see STARS in Hollywood Studios, which hinted at the start of the holiday season in the parks (even though it wasn’t even Halloween yet). But today Halloween is officially OVA, and holiday decor is arriving in Magic Kingdom! Christmas looks a little different in the parks this year since Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been canceled. There won’t be fireworks or Christmas stage shows, and Cinderella Castle won’t even be lit up in the classic holiday lights this year. Instead, Disney World will decorate the castle with projections. Magic Kingdom Train Station But even with all that, there does seem to be a bit of continuity when it comes to the Christmas decor! And, we’re giving you a full look at all the wreaths, trees, and MORE we found in the Magic Kingdom today! Right now, City Hall is looking merry and bright with poinsettias hanging up on the building. City Hall Next door, the shops have decorated their windows with holiday delights! The emporium is ringing in the season with a pair of bells hanging outside of the store… Emporium …while the inside has garlands strung across the rooms for some festive flair. Emporium The decorations feel like they’re almost welcoming everyone into the Magic Kingdom to do their Christmas shopping! Emporium Decorations We just hope that we made the Nice List after seeing all the ADORABLE holiday merchandise lining the shelves in the Emporium. Plushes at the Emporium Christmas has swept into the parks overnight because the Main Street tree is already up with ornaments and packages from Santa! We’re happy we can still take our annual holiday photos in front of this beauty again this year. Christmas Tree Isn’t she a beaut?? It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! pic.twitter.com/TuXjGtdGMF — AJ Wolfe (@DisneyFoodBlog) November 1, 2020 Just beyond, our walk down Main Street now feels like a Winter Wonderland as wreaths are everywhere you look (and we LOVE it). Holidays at the Magic Kingdom 2020 Wreaths extend outward onto Main Street with faux wax candles that will make each night merry and bright throughout the holiday season… Magic Kingdom Wreaths …while the lampposts have also seen new decorations! Mickey wreaths have returned again this year to kick off Christmastime. Mickey Wreaths Plus, regular holiday wreaths can also be found on lampposts around the area with their ornaments, bows, and mistletoe. Holiday Wreaths The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is sporting one of the BIGGEST wreaths on Main Street. And, the Dapper Dans cruised on down Main Street aboard the trolley, singing tunes for all to hear. While we are waiting for themed cavalcades to arrive in the parks for Christmas, Goofy and his pals still were ready to have a blast in the Magic Kingdom today. And, we got to experience our first ride of the season on the attraction (and our hearts are so full). It’s the JINGLE Cruise! pic.twitter.com/X3xGsvBycR — AJ Wolfe (@DisneyFoodBlog) November 1, 2020 As we waited in line, Christmas tunes like “Mele Kalikimaka” played over the speakers as we admired the new decorations in the queue!
