Wilderness Lodge Boat Transportation One of our favorite tours in Disney World has officially been discontinued, marking yet another change for a beloved hotel. Throughout Disney World, parks and resorts continue to add, remove, and tweak operations and offerings. Already this year, we’ve had our minds blown by Splash Mountain’s planned re-theming and the most epic Food and Wine Festival. The latest change is more of a bummer: the Wonders of the Lodge Tour has been discontinued at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge For visitors at this incredible resort, the tour provided an immersive behind-the-scenes look at the AMAZING design and backstory of the hotel and its adjoining villas. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge We spoke to a Cast Member who confirmed that the tours have been discontinued, “at least for now.” Whether it’s permanent or not, time will tell.
