Pin Traders Pin trading is a pastime that many consider a staple of Disney fandom. Disney pins have been around for a while, but in 2000 pin trading started up officially in the Disney parks! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of pin trading, there was supposed to be a trading event this August 22nd and 23rd. Now, due to the global health crisis, the 2020 Pin Trading Event will be held online! In line with guidance from government and health officials, Disney World has opted to conduct the 2020 Pin Trading Event as a virtual online event at a to-be-announced date and time. Guests will get the chance to discover and purchase the special collection of pins created for the event AND connect with other pin traders.
